As a Star Wars fan, my New Year gift for myself in 2017 was to buy a ticket for the premiere of "Star Wars Gaiden: Rogue One". Rogue One, out of five stars, I give it five stars. It may be somewhat subjective, but compared with last year's Star Wars 7, this rumor is much stronger.

But it was not until the release of Rogue One 40 years later that we realized that these unsung heroes are the ones who brought new hope to the galaxy. The tone of the whole film is very depressing, very tragic, but also very real. The image of the uprising army has been shaped by this rumor and has become fuller. The rebel army is far less united than imagined. They will also have differences, contradictions, and cowards. They will also use all means for their ends, and their beliefs and hopes to support them are often shaken. However, since it is called the Rebel Army, it is a revolutionary team. Revolution is not a treat for dinner, revolution means battle, bloodshed, and sacrifice. Why fight? It is nothing more than resistance wherever there is oppression, and political power comes out of the barrel of a gun.
The action of Rogue One was not approved. Those who boarded the ship and decided to fight it were all refugees who had blood and deep vengeance against the empire or their homes destroyed by power. Everyone had revenge for revenge and revenge for injustice. Some of the lofty ideals and beliefs are just decisive and desperate to be forced to Liangshan.
So I think that sometimes it is not fighting for faith, but the so-called faith is nurtured in constant fighting and sacrifice.
The third star is for the soundtrack and special effects. The soundtrack of Rogue One is something I personally like very much, both old and new, re-creating on the basis of keeping the classic melody, it makes people feel familiar and refreshing.
In terms of special effects, although there is no scene of a Jedi warrior lightsaber competition, one of the iconic Star Wars, the X-wing fighter and the titanium fighter air battle scene, the scene where the white soldiers and the rebels clashed with each other, and the new robot K-2SO, the iconic Star Wars The appearances of the Death Star, Star Destroyer, AT-AT, Darth Vader... let the audience be addicted to it.
The fourth star is given to the IP of Star Wars and also to the production team of this movie. Since the first release of Star Wars in 1977, its significance has surpassed the movie itself, it has created a culture. But to be honest, when I heard that Star Wars was about to make a sequel, my first reaction was not expectation, but fear. Because I have witnessed too many classics being smashed and badly filmed for sequels, and I have witnessed too many acts of making money from inferior works with "IP in hand, no worries at the box office". So I am afraid, I am afraid that the sequel will ruin this great classic. But thanks to the conscientious production team, not only did not reduce the charm of this classic, but also injected new blood into it. Like everyone on the production team.
