Then freeze frame at the last kiss, the hero dies in the source code, is it the most in line with the audience's imagination? The director also deliberately or unintentionally misled. For example, the male protagonist took his girlfriend off the train during a crossing. She thought it could save his life, but in real life she still died in the explosion. So by this time watching the movie, the audience has clearly realized that the source code cannot change the past, but can only affect the future. The person in that car has already died, so it makes no sense to come back to life. The seventh crossing will become a male. The last eight minutes of the main consciousness remaining in the world. The audience boasted of the old driver, but the director was also very cunning. If the ending can be guessed by the audience, what else does the director play? What's the point of making such an old-fashioned last kiss? So the director cleverly paved a way for Steven to escape. Every time he crossed, the scene would be slightly different.
