Why do I use this title? It's because I really can't understand the comments of some people, and I am full of disdain to criticize other people's works, and use a lot of popular Internet celebrity language to exaggerate my small and ignorant values. I feel bored when I see it.
Because "Western World" is such a well-crafted work, it is worthy of admiration. I don't like it being abused by others. The reasons are as follows:
1. Visual effects and hardware. It
can be said that this American drama has all the necessary visual effects, such as the western exterior scene, the robot special effects, and the interior scene of the high-tech institution laboratory. I will not list the data of how much money has been invested. HBO's big investment project.
2. The director team of the Nolan family’s golden lacquered signboard has indeed played a very important role. The work is actually about the entanglement of robots and humans, creators and gods, which can probably be characterized as the myth of Oedipus and Frankenstein. The extension of Frankenstein is actually a bit like the bridge segment in David Lynch’s movie. It even reminds me of the mechanic played by Bell. The process of Dolores’s pursuit of memories is a bit like that of the Nolan family back then. "Memory Fragment", anyway, the Western World can give full marks to the play structure. The old-fashioned robot story is the team that makes good use of the American drama production cycle to make up for the lack of expression space in the film. Due to the time limit, the growth of the character, the psychological description of the film is impossible to be like the American drama. Delicate, we find that the shots in the Western World are obscure, highly condensed, large amounts of information, and there are not many god-level shots of deep artistic conception. 3. Play and dig pits to bury the suspense, but fulfill the promise in one season, give the audience everything that should be given, and leave enough foreshadowing, this is the commendable spirit of the masterpiece. Structurally, Ford and Bernard are friends and foes, and they are also friends and foes to the robots. There has never been a word out. He was only selfishly trying to pursue his kind of self lost in reality by chasing Dolores, but he could not appreciate the beauty that Delores was created, so he finally resented Paradise. The robot of the world, resenting Dolores, feels like a toy. In fact, William in black is a very selfish and controlling person, but he doesn't want to face who he is.
Next is Dolores. At first it seemed that her clues were messy. In fact, I felt that Wyatt’s storyline was Dolores in the middle of seeing it. In fact, Wyatt only appeared twice, and once was the first to run away. Version, and the final bloodbath banquet of Dolores is Wyatt being liberated, which can be understood as the part of Dolores’ robot will to revenge against humans. In fact, Dolores killed Arnold is a very logical story line.

Finally, Ford managed 10 episodes vaguely. The final big reversal is not unexpected. Many elements of the Western World have classic film routines, but they are not conventional. The reason why Professor Ford's role is the most complicated, most beautiful, and tailor-made for the actor, stems from the need for him at the core of the story. At the end of the story, it is mentioned that Michelangelo’s "Creation of Adam" hides the sharp view that God is the human brain. I really admire the five-body perspective. The pursuit of details is the most fascinating part of American TV dramas, regardless of whether there is such a historical evidence. One paragraph, this is undoubtedly the finishing touch of the film. Ford originated from Arnold’s guilt. Arnold finally got stuck in activating the robot consciousness but regretted that he could no longer turn his head. He finally decided to end himself and the robot. Isn’t this idea the same as Frankenstein’s idea of destroying Frankenstein? The creation is mainly the story of the destruction of the world, but in the end Ford was actually a reformist. He advocated continuing to operate the park and improving the behavior of the robots. However, when he lost his brother and fulfilled his brother’s wishes, they actually had differences at the time. Ford also has strange emotions to robots, probably because of different divisions of labor. Arnold focuses on studying the emotional mode and thinking of the receptionist robot, while Ford should be the main force in developing the robot's behavior mode and the adaptability of the body. Therefore, Ford It took more than 30 years to digest and improve Arnold’s research results. In the end, he also said in the foregoing that he still believes that robots should live in a constantly circulating small world is the happiest and most perfect, and it is a mistake to gain consciousness. But he also had special feelings for the receptionist. He understood Arnold’s pain and finally chose to follow his friend’s footsteps. So he finally released the robot and completed the research results of Arnold.
