Eleven-year-old Katniss met Pitta in despair. When I was twelve years old, when I was in a business fight, I met Gal. They were hunters and friends. He is the opposite of Pita, who is full of hostility and instability. In order to survive, he and Katniss are "like-minded" interdependence. On the issue of running away, Gal and Katniss had a disagreement. He didn't want to bring people who were not related to him: Hemis and the Pita family. And Pita not only promised to run away with Katniss and others, but when Gale was in trouble, he did not hesitate to help them, against Kai Pitt and Snow. It is also resistance. The difference between Pita and Gale is that the former is opposed to killing between people and seeking peace; while the latter is full of flames of anger and hatred. Gal thinks that Katniss will eventually choose the person who cannot survive without "him". Although Katniss hates this idea, she did choose Pitta who gave her hope in the end—he is the dandelion in spring, then Bright yellow means rebirth rather than destruction. No matter how many precious things we lose, it ensures that life can continue and tells us that life will be better (from the end of the original).
When the second Hunger Games chose the tribute, Pitta begged Hemis to let him be selected. The moment Hemis was drawn, Pitta voluntarily replaced him as the tribute. In his small box of disc necklaces decorated with mockingbirds, there are pictures of Katniss mother and sister and Gail. He kept reminding her that life is full of meaning, and even put his hand on her abdomen to remind her that she will talk to her in the future. Er conceives a child. Pete's love is not forced or demanding, but companionship, comfort, dedication and sacrifice. He could read and understand Katniss's mind, and he still loved it. So when Snow "hijacks" Pita, he becomes a "mutant." The "hijacked" Pita stated the fact that he cruelly exposed the other side of Katniss, including her kiss (love) with him and Gale.
All the beauty in the world undoubtedly comes from pain. In the second Hunger Games, Pete opened the oyster and found a big bean pearl and gave it to Katniss. She placed it next to her body to give her strength. This pearl reminded her of the boy who gave her bread, the man who used his strong arms to drive her away nightmares on the train, and the man who kissed her in the arena. It reminded her of the only person in the world who would love her unconditionally. People: Pitta.
