After watching the film, I carefully watched some plot analysis and character analysis, only to see that each minor line very cleverly provided a lot of clues and metaphors for the rational explanation of the entire main line. Those plots that have passed by in the process of watching the movie can only be understood after such an in-depth analysis, and there is a feeling of "thinking and terrifying" when I want to come. This feeling is somewhat similar to the feeling when seeing that old lady is the ultimate boss and introducing her criminal psychology in an unusually inhuman manner.
After pondering the details, I feel that some parts of the plot are still a bit suspicious:
1. Since the mentally handicapped child is a major suspect, the police will definitely focus on searching where he lives. In addition, the two little girls should have been taken away in his car, but no clues (including fingerprints) were left on the car?
2. The line of the priest and the hidden door were really deliberately exposed;
3. After the first little girl escaped, the old lady faced a great risk of exposure, but before her father found it, there seemed to be no response and progress.
The suspense of the story itself is just a coat, and the core is still the projection and reflection of the inner world of different people on the outer world. The film is very good, but it seems that there are often times that make me creepy.
