Then I finished watching.
I like that the leading actor has almost no lines, like the tension in the silence, like the sound effects of the soundtrack, and the font that is reminiscent of Miley Cyrus at first glance.
I like the driver's clean, empty home, and his non-talkative character. I like that at first he evaded the single mother next door, but turned around to fix her car in the end. I like his sparse and usual conversations when he arrives at her house, his three-second pause, and his friendly attitude towards her children.
I actually don't like this kind of movies very much, because the happiness comes too fast at the beginning and tragedy will follow. I like to drag it to the end by myself, and in the end I won’t die for various reasons, just like although I love "Leon" to death, but I will never watch it again if I kill it. I can’t bear it. The ending. (But I was spoiled. I knew he was not dead, so I watched it more relaxedly.)
I prefer this movie because it almost suits my taste. Driver's white jacket with scorpions printed on it all the time, as if to imply how standard he is a Scorpio. Killing is so simple, but so innocently loving a woman, so pure enough to really say to a woman, "Or we will take the money and take the child to the world"... In the end he left alone by himself.. .
Driver’s life is step-by-step, well-organized, making money, but never stepping into the underworld, hitting whoever mentions it (the part of eating in the bar). But love is born to break reason. When love appears, it heralds chaos, breaking principles and lying in muddy waters--"I have seen messing around with a married woman, and never even helped her husband rob and pay back money! "
We Scorpio, I think I love you, I can do everything, and I don't like to say it. If only leaving you can let the whole incident calm down, well, I would rather not be with you, although I really thought about it once, as long as you agree, we can leave right away.
Love, happiness, and family have never belonged to the Driver. The two bosses are settled, the money is paid back, and I am not dead. The most sensible and smartest way is to disappear. Since there has been a life that can be used to remember, I am alone, and I should be alone when I go.
I like this ending.
