1. Furiosa tells Max that there is a kill switch in the car, and she can't leave without her. Max is not a bird, saying that he will only take her. Furiosa also said that Max had injured Immortan Joe's favorite breeder, and it would be over if he didn't leave. Max is not a bird. Until Furiosa finally asked Max, do you want to remove the mask on his face? Max's eyes live. Symbolic freedom is so important to Max.
Before this scene, the only dialogue Max could recognize seemed to be "Water!", "You." and "No!"
2. Max sniped Bullet Farm's tracked vehicle alone. Wash the blood off the body with mother milk when you come back. Previously, only mother milk was established at Citadel. This is the first time I mentioned that there is mother milk in the car. It's completely Max's baptism.
3. Max said his name to Furiosa who was in a coma. "My name is Max. Max, is my name." Except for the voice-over at the beginning, this is the only time Max has said his name. And it was completely self-identifying, he was telling himself who he was. At this point, Max's transformation from a lunatic who barely speaks to a hero of the protagonist is complete.
ps Immortan Joe looked at a shot of the gravel roadblock which was rather vague, as if he had used a backup shot. I don't know if it was an omission or the original shot was missing.
The combination of music and sound effects and video is simply perfect. Red, yellow and blue act as the main colors in different acts.
It's perfect. George Miller is 70 this year, but he wants to live a long life. The new Mad Max trilogy is so exciting.
