Last year, I missed gravity because of work, so I looked forward to this film. And Nolan’s movies have basically never disappointed me. Although he can’t be called a god for the time being, he is very close from the perspective of his past resume.
But this film disappointed me, yes, even more disappointed than the rise of the dark knight. When I saw it about two-thirds, I felt something was wrong. I was looking forward to a god ending, but the plot still slid into vulgarity irretrievably.
Let me talk about the problem of not being hard enough.
If it is a serious science fiction work, the setting is not rigorous enough, the fault is obvious.
The first is the cause of the sandstorm. At the end of the film, there is no clear answer. What is the cause of gravity imbalance? This is a bit too foolish, a bit like giving a reason just to give a reason.
Secondly, I don't believe that Nolan will not know the famous "grandfather paradox" that is almost an entry-level time travel theme, but the setting and logic of this film can't solve this paradox at all. Halfway through, when I mentioned that high-dimensional civilization can transmit information through gravity, I vaguely guessed that the previous ghost was the protagonist, so by the time of four-fifths of the film, how I hope Nolan will at least give me the entire parallel universe The concept of the movie came out somehow so that the film does not slide into the abyss of logic.
But he just didn’t, because the cause is the effect, and the effect is the cause. You guys have contacted the past and you still stopped on the same timeline. Then you can explain the reason why the protagonist is the one. Otherwise, why should the high-dimensional human civilization have to make you go to the black hole to knock on Morse code? Can't you directly send information to the old Professor Brand decades ago? Can't find a reliable person to give a solution before the sandstorm occurs? (Don't tell me that you can't solve it if you reach the five-dimensional space) Or can you help the existing human civilization to quickly climb the technology tree in advance?
If you want to say that history is crucified because of the setting, and the five-dimensional civilization was developed at the current level of civilization and survived because of the salvation of the protagonist, then give me a round of "five-dimensional civilization" Where did the five-dimensional civilization that gave guidance at the current level of civilization come from?" So your sister can transmit information through time and space through gravity. As a result, there is only one ring of this node in the long history of history?
Obviously a parallel world setting with the same nonsense can avoid the "grandfather paradox" so that there is no such flaws, but for a happy ending that is LOW to burst, Nolan puts on a pair like "Brother, just shoot like this, not so Set the feeling of "Where do you watch the movie".
The remaining problems such as the fact that the body enters the black hole without being torn and flattened, wakes up immediately after hibernation, and goes out of the cabin without decompression, and there are tidal waves with such a fast speed (which can cause such a huge wave should That is the reason for the black hole's gravity, but your sky has never been dark. Tell me that the planet has rotated for a week and the waves are coming again?) I don't want to complain.
So, for a hard science fiction fan for nearly two decades, this film made me feel an insult.
Let me talk about feelings again.
It may seem to many people that the 2001 Space Odyssey is indeed too old, but what I want to say is that the feelings of the film do not know how high it is than Nolan, an emotional film covered in pseudo-science fiction.
"The status of movie history? We should talk about the status of this movie in the history of human civilization." This is my biggest feeling after watching the 2001 Space Odyssey. It is also a sci-fi movie that cannot be regarded as a hard science fiction. In the setting, it is okay if you say that it is mysterious, or you have a big brain, but you really can't find any logical flaws under the setting of the movie.
Under the skin of science fiction, the film explores such a great proposition as "who am I, where am I from, where am I going", I really have to admire Kubrick.
On the other hand, Nolan’s film, the setting cannot be hardened, and what is hidden under the skin is the small-hearted core of family love. I do not deny the meaning and importance of love to human beings, but when compared, the style is high and the judgment is high.
Feelings, this is also the gap between the master and the craftsman.
There are special effects.
I don't know if it is the reason why I have been spoiled by the special effects of the film in recent years. I always feel that the special effects of this film are not as shocking as Inception. This is a personal feeling, not to argue.
One last detail. Before I saw the ring colony, I thought that the protagonist's name was cooper, but you gave me a cooper whose surname is his surname. Then what is the name of the second son (second grandson) of his son tom·cooper? ? cooper·cooper? I don’t see what it means to be called Jr. Cooper...
In short, the scene is good, the plot can basically round out ordinary people, and then have a warm ending. The strength of 7 points is still there (full marks). 10 points, not Nolan’s film can give 7.5 or 8 points). But I saw the overwhelming applause, which made me, a hard science fiction fan, feel very, very uncomfortable. You must know that the brain fans are the most black (here I specifically mention the three-body brain fans by name. Please watch more science fiction works. Come again).
The two consecutive films have been average, and I am looking forward to Nolan's next film.
