Really disturbing, but wonderfully interesting character in Lou. What Jake Gyllenhaal is able to do from this film really sets him apart from his previous performances. Although the storyline is certainly very interesting, what truly makes the film great is the performance by Gyllenhaal. That rememberable scene with the dead watching over the flirtation between Lou and Nina will be stuck in my mind for a while. However, something just feels missing in this film, perhaps its the rather lacking ending or the fact that you couldn't really root for any characters in the film.
