Deity

Personally, it is quite easy to understand. The open line is that Lucy's brain development is getting higher and higher, and the ability to control is getting stronger. The dark line is that as the divine rises, Lucy's humanity is gradually lost.

The Korean gangsters and Boss have already complained a lot. It is indeed far-fetched. There is no need to excuse this story in content, but this story perfectly extends the open and dark lines. The external Lucy dealt with the Boss more and more easily until there was no need to deal with it at all. The inner Lucy went from fear to hatred to contempt to completely ignore. The whole narrative was very compact but did not jump, linking the light and dark process of Lucy becoming a god.

Someone previously said that Lucy was in a time race against the body, which was correct, but she had no great love. She was not more and more restrained from killing, but the growing ability made her no longer need to kill. So although she didn't have to kill, she didn't care about other people's life and death when she was in a drag racing rush, and of course she didn't care about the life and death of the male protagonist in the end. In fact, like other human natures, Lucy's love has been lost. From the first call to his mother to show love, to the end of looking back at the death of the scientist's child to convince him of his divine power, Lucy has been incontinent in love.

Those who have watched Michelangelo Genesis know what it means for Lucy's finger to touch the female ape's finger. The All-Knowing and Almighty Lord passed some of his intelligence to the ancient ape Lucy (in the movie, it means God's 10% intelligence). At this point, intelligence actually produces humanity that even God does not possess. Therefore, the sum of 10% intelligence and 100% humanity is not worse than 100% intelligence plus 10% humanity. The most basic human nature distinguishes good from evil, so we see that people with divine nature in many superpower works are often big villains, such as One Piece Blackbeard X-Men Qin Ge Lei and Serra in Heros. These people are not evil, they just lose their humanity. From these perspectives, the film has footnotes to all works with superpowers, which is the greatness of this film.

Everyone must ask, since the god is inhuman and has no likes and dislikes, why choose the ancient ape named Lucy instead of another one named Lily, or let another race directly dominate the earth. The professor in the film has already explained that dolphins can have 20% intelligence, but they are no longer in the same direction as human intelligence (intelligence is a vector). Gods do not only favor humans. In addition, the incident of Lucy becoming a god is also a good explanation. She didn't touch her finger with any god, it's just that a small probability event happened to her. If the Boss didn't give Lucy the glass of wine, if Lucy was not beaten, if the doctor didn't tell Lucy the time limit of the drug, etc., if something went wrong, Lucy would have died before reaching 100%. So the film very implicitly implies that Lucy's touching the finger of the ancient ape is only an image, not a real cause and effect. The real situation is that this ancient ape has gained a little more intelligence than other apes through various accidents. Maybe like the beginning of the movie, watching the sky more when drinking water made Lucy the great ape.

The USB flash drive at the end of the film obviously borrows the Pandora’s Box from Greek mythology, because Pandora means a woman with all the talents. This may include the ultimate mystery of the universe or become Lucy's approach to the same existence. Whether this so-called human complementation is a blessing or a curse is definitely a matter of opinion. I won’t go into more details about this in the EVA. In short, this is also in line with the characteristics of Pandora’s Box. The male protagonist is well paid, and he has the Lucy manifestation "I am everywhere", and his status is comparable to that of a great prophet like Braham or Moses. In fact, he is just a small Reminder of Lucy. In the future, Lucy may appear in front of others.

This film pierced the small layer of window paper between religion and science. Before mankind mastered all the laws of the universe, religion could fill in many unknown sciences. Therefore, it is totally understandable that so many scientists finally changed to theology. They just turned to study some deeper unknown sciences. I think the biggest flaw in various religions is that they have reserved too much humanity for God in the process of shaping the omniscient and omnipotent God. Regardless of whether it is the Lord, Buddha or Hawking, they may be further away from the main road, but they don't need the trait of fraternity. The apocalyptic religion of the same origin is particularly interesting. Judaism says that the Lord covers us Jews and will send people to redeem us in the future; Christianity says that the redeemer has come and called Jesus the Lord’s son. He not only saved the Israelis, but also ordered a new one. About to save everyone; Islam says that the Lord covers us Arabs, and the last prophet Muhammad fulfilled the Lord’s promise and gave us a powerful empire. It sounds like people from all walks of life think that the Lord is a black boss, this is evident in the human nature. Has the Lord's wish been fulfilled? The promised land of the Jews was given by the United Nations. The Christians’ old covenant was changed to the new covenant without fulfilling it. The Arabs’ imperial dream came true for a while, but it was similar to Hong Xiuquan’s method of worshiping God. In addition to the Lord, Islam separates Sunni and Shiites, and for the Lord to have something to say to whom, Christianity separates Eastern God and Protestantism. Everyone is like a bunch of younger brothers vying for favor in front of the big guys, but it's really embarrassing that so many people die every year because of this. In contrast, Buddhism's stuff is quite high-end and philosophical, but it can also save oneself and others. Therefore, I can only look at religion as interesting history and philosophy, but I can't believe it at all. Is the omniscient and omnipotent God human? Divide good and evil? Is there love? This is the big question that this film raises.

Far away, with the U disk and Prophet hero mentioned above, there are still some sequels, but if Scarlett has fewer scenes, then I will collapse. The film only took an hour and a half, and the goddess only wore three sets of clothes. This superpower is not cool. Please watch the movie, but people are not gods. . .
