"Edge of Tomorrow", the idiot who died for a lifetime will eventually become a master

"Edge of Tomorrow" is a qualified commercial film, except for the more eye-catching male and female protagonists, and the rest are relatively plain. Basically, it can be divided into the ranks of whether to see or not. Suitable for the crowd-heavy Japanese manga enthusiasts, sci-fi otaku, passionate couples.
For me, the biggest advantage of this movie is that it brings back memories of my childhood. Back in those days, red and white phones had just begun to become popular, and I could only stare at them. The local tyrants next door bought one closely following the trend, and I was fortunate to be invited to attend the grand opening ceremony for the first time. Watching the local tyrants fighting profusely throughout the afternoon, the first level of "Contra" seemed to him an insurmountable barrier, which made people look very anxious, but unfortunately there was only anxiousness. For the sake of this, the local tyrant refused to put the handle down, letting the anxious crowd next to him also press it twice. Finally, after dying and dying countless times, the onlookers remembered all the ambushes and traps, and whenever the local tyrants played where they were easy to sacrifice, someone would give a loud reminder. Amidst the noise, the local tyrant finally cleared the customs smoothly.
But what is annoying is that until the shouts of the mothers from various families came out to greet the children to go home and eat, this guy still had no plans to let me who had been watching for an afternoon join the battle. I had no choice but to return in grief, and vowed to myself that even if this turtle asked Lao Tzu to go, Lao Tzu would not go.
As soon as I finished dinner, I regretted it, and I kept thinking about the red villain in the game flying up and down. Fortunately, just when I was bored with the TV remote and pressed to and fro, I accidentally switched to a channel, and the video of the game appeared on the TV (I still don’t understand why the game signal is crossed to other people’s homes), My God, I can't believe my eyes. I'm sure that this signal must come from the next door, because the way the characters die in the game is exactly the same as the one controlled by the idiot next door.
So in the days to come, although I still don't have a red and white machine, fortunately, I can appreciate the level of other people's games at home without going out. It can be said that I have witnessed how the idiot next door reached the peak step by step. After months of hard work, this guy has gone from 30 lives to one level to one life over five to eight levels.
You see, no matter how stupid a person is, after so much life and death, he will eventually become a master.
These are my most intuitive feelings about "Edge of Tomorrow". People who watch movies are just like watching others playing the same video game over and over again, witnessing the change from a rookie to a master. The sacrifices made by Tom Cruise in the movie are equivalent to restarting the game again and again. The advancement of the plot is to strive for each death late and push the game forward a little bit. Finally, after countless failures, the protagonist in the game killed the ultimate boss, and the movie was over.
Although boredom is a bit boring, it's good to kill time.
The biggest attraction of "Edge of Tomorrow" is undoubtedly Tom Cruise. In recent years, he seems to be particularly interested in such light science fiction subjects. In this movie, Tom Cruise played a big egg for the first time in his career. Although the big egg eventually became a hero who saved the world and successfully conquered the female man, this movie is a big one. Part of the entertainment and laughter comes from the character's timidity and weakness.
Except for the big star support scenes, the rest of the movie is pretty good. The recurring story, trying to be a cliché, did not produce the slightest new idea. The war scenes are not grand, and the mechs used in combat are almost equivalent to a pile of scrap iron. Alien creatures have no sense of existence either. Their morphological design is neither innovative nor their combat effectiveness is so-so, which can be easily handled by conventional human weapons.
Fairly satisfactory, not many bright spots, three and a half stars.

If at the end is Tom discovering that he is just a character in a video game, I will give it five stars.
