I just finished watching "The Wolf of Wall Street" two days ago, and I can't help but stand in awe of the 60-year-old Ma. Regardless of the gangster theme or the biographical record, they are all at ease, and this R-rated "Wolf of Wall Street" is completely beyond imagination. After viewing it, I preliminarily speculated that Lao Ma’s second major transformation might deserve the favor of the Oscar review.

Unexpectedly, after watching "Dallas" today, I was amazed:
Did Dallas appear to explode "The Wolf of Wall Street"?
How could two films collide in the same awards season as cleverly as this!

Let me tell everyone in detail:
1. First of all, the subject matter. The two films are both biographical dramas. "Dallas" tells the story of a bohemian ruffian Ron Woodruff who survived and changed his life after discovering that he had accidentally contracted AIDS. And "The Wolf of Wall Street" is an adaptation of the legendary stockbroker Belfort's sensational financial fraud case.

2. First of all, we must talk about the protagonists of the two films. "Dallas" focuses on describing Ron Woodruff's life before he fell ill, taking drugs, and gambling. After discovering that I had AIDS, I gradually picked up my life on the right track and finally helped thousands of people with AIDS. The "Wolf of Wall Street" tells the story of a short-lived baby who came to Wall Street and encountered Black Monday. After being unemployed and trapped in life, he went to illegal financial fraud.

3. Next, talk about acting. Matthew McConaughey and Xiao Li are well-known first-line actors who have extraordinary acting skills, but have never received favor during the awards season. As far as these two films are concerned, Ron's bohemian and a few one-man plays performed by Ma Jiao are praised. And Xiao Li's brainwashing of several mobilization hosts makes people suspect that this product has not really done MLM? Both of them have very shining actor scenes.

4. Secondly, in terms of plot, the two films complemented each other, and the stumbling block in the "struggle" process of the protagonist still turned to the government agency. Ron, the protagonist of "Dallas" received heavy scrutiny and blockade from the FDA, and was fighting against the dark side of large hospitals and medical institutions, while the protagonist of "The Wolf of Wall Street", Belfort, fell from the horse after dealing with the FBI.

5. The male partner also has to say that Jared Leto, the male partner in "Dallas", performed this transvestite guy almost impeccably. And Jonah Hill’s performance of "The Bird Show" in "The Wolf of Wall Street" also made a very big sacrifice, which is undoubtedly the favored object of the Oscar judges.

6. As for the director, Lao Ma is well-known in the world, and in this film has shown a versatile and shocking transformation. The director of "Dallas", Jean-Marc Varey, is unknown. I dare say that few Chinese audiences know this name. Although this time he did not win the Oscar nomination for best director, a few people think this film He didn't guide the film well.

Well, to sum up, if you put aside the annual "political election"-like canvassing and lobbying by the Oscars, it can almost be concluded that the relatively small pomp and momentum of "Dallas" can completely explode "The Wolf of Wall Street", while "Dallas" The performance awards won at the Golden Globe Awards during this trip are a great encouragement to the film.

If as I said, then Lao Ma and Xiao Li are very likely to have another sightseeing trip.
Bless "Dallas".

  • Ron Woodroof: I still got HIV?

Dr. Vass: You will always test positive for HIV. And now you've got AIDS for all the toxic shit you've put in your body. You've shut your immune system and now you've got chronic leumonia, among other things. It could cause memory loss, mood swings, aching joints.

Ron Woodroof: So if it sucks, I got it.

  • Ron Woodroof: Do you ever miss your regular life?

Dr. Eve Saks: Regular life? What is that? It doesn't exist.

Ron Woodroof: Yeah, I guess. No, I know, I just... I just wanna...

    Dr. Eve Saks: What?

Ron Woodroof: Ice-cold beer, a little riding in. Well, take my woman dancing. You know? I want kids. I mean, I got one... one life, right? Mine. But sh... Fuck, I want somebody else's sometimes. Sometimes I just feel like I'm fighting for a life I just ain't got time to live. I want it to mean something.

    Dr. Eve Saks: It does.
