Let's analyze it from the characters.
Rocky made three preconceived mistakes based on the intuition of the police: 1. He believed that the priest was a sodomy, and he couldn't believe what he said. Is Keller a good person? Many people are arguing. Personally, there is no doubt. There are three reasons: 1. When he hurt Alex, he never used a hammer, because he couldn't be cruel so far; 2. When he boiled hot water to burn Alex, he left helpless and sad tears, and he was helpless. Kneeling on the ground and praying to God (this is a very interesting phenomenon, I will analyze it at the end); 3. Attitude to aunt. Old people are always weak and the object of sympathy, but never thought that the dark heart is often hidden under the most imperceptible skin; the second time he went to Alex's house, he was already suspicious, but innocent. He put the pistol in his toolbox because he thought that his girl's kidnapping had nothing to do with the old man. It was all caused by "sympathy", so he could only be caught obediently in the end. Some people say that Keller is impulsive and brainless. This must be a misunderstanding. He knows that Alex’s behavior is not unreasonable, because Alex gave a lot of key information (the first sentence of dialogue, dog abuse, and the nursery rhyme after changing the word). He only He could start from him, but he couldn't predict that Alex was not only not a murderer, but also a poor victim.
Speaking of Alex, the word poor can't express the degree. He is the son of the interviewee who disappeared 26 years ago. He has been frightened and intimidated since he was a child. Alex originally wanted to save the two girls, so he said "I cried when I left them", but when aunt was there, he couldn't continue. Aunt should have heard this sentence, so she quickly Take Alex away. It was more obvious when Loki was to verify whether Alex had said this. Luo basically just wanted to use his aunt to threaten Alex so that he could tell the truth, but by mistake, he closed his mouth tightly. Because he wanted Aunt to be implicated. Back to the beginning, when the police chased Alex, why did he run away? When he can’t escape, he would rather commit suicide (driving against a tree). There are several possibilities: 1. He doesn’t know who is chasing him and will not hurt him; therefore, he dare not talk nonsense at the police station. Because he couldn't know that they were good people, especially their rude behavior towards him. 2. He wants to direct the police to his house so that the girl can be taken out. (If he dies, the police will definitely go to his home to investigate.) I personally think that the second possibility is very small because he has insufficient IQ. Always, a total tragedy!
Looking at another tragedy-Tyler, a perverted snake man, was frightened to the point that he could only draw endless mazes, just because he only thought about one thing in his mind and escaped the maze! As to why he locked up the snake and had children’s clothes, it should be his experience at the aunt’s house. He was imitating the couple’s behavior. If there is no blood, use pig blood instead. The novel that the police found from his house was just a cover, and it didn't matter. He should have nothing to do with the current aunt, not the aunt's instigation. His behavior was the result of childhood trauma. He should have seen a couple bury their bodies, so he followed suit and repeated the process, replacing the two girls with two fake dolls. And he didn't know if he was a murderer, he just did it like this.
Finally back to the priest, a typical cannon fodder! It's not that he doesn't want to say it, but he can't say that, in the professional ethics of a pastor, all he can say is just a few words, and Rocky still doesn't believe him. This is about God. In the whole film, what role does God play? I believe that it is not difficult for a discerning person to see it, and even makes me speculate on the religious beliefs of the director or screenwriter. At least in this film, it is demonstrated that God is a joke! Please look at the reasons:
1. In order to uphold the teachings of God, the pastor replaced the big evil with small evil (closed uncle) (go out and continue to kill), and the result was that he was imprisoned, and he couldn't argue with it;

4. The source of all evil lies in "declaring war on God"! Because the couple’s children are gone, who can they hold accountable? It can only be God! In the name of challenging God, hurt other children, die abnormal!
Countless information shows that God is a joke! The tone of ridicule God in the play has to be humorous and witty, but not everyone understands it! I like.
