The soul of the movie

I think that the movie has three parts, one is his thoughts, which is the plot, the second is his body, which is the picture, and the third is his soul, which is the music. Don’t forget that when you watch Chaplin’s movie, you don’t have a word, but why do people turn on the volume or wear headphones? Because film can lack language, but the lack of music is absolutely indispensable. Our vision may be rested many, many times a day, and we will sleep, but our hearing does continue, and we are all awakened. In the bleak scene, we would think that the movie is paused, but if there is a sad or beautiful music set off, then the movie will be resurrected. Music is the soul of movies.

With such a neat script, heavy historical background, and Polanski's steady scene scheduling, it will surely be able to put many excellent labels on it. But these are exactly where I can't like such a movie too much. It is so neat that it is not spiritual enough and does not surprise people. Besides, there was "Schindler's List" 9 years ago.
