The Conjuring-8/10

I finally watched this horror movie with rave reviews, and it feels really good. This movie should be regarded as one of the best in Hollywood horror movies in recent years. In addition to using the usual sound effects to make this film scary, I feel that the most successful place lies in the rendering of the atmosphere and suspense. Director James Wan seems to have found the formula for success. The plot is not as predictable as ordinary horror movies, and has a certain logic. As a horror movie, it is really commendable to be able to do this. However, there are also regrets in this film. Hollywood horror films always like to go straight and let you see those ghosts, but what you can often see is actually not terrifying. "Ferocious Bell" is an eternal classic in my heart.

By the way, let’s update the top 10 horror movies that I have watched. This one is now in the top 10!
1. Ringu (Jap)
2. Psycho
3. The Exorcist
4. The Shining
5. The Sixth Sense
6. Misery
7. Halloween (1978)
8. [Rec]
9. The Conjuring
10. The Others

If you watch it in a movie theater, you should be scared to splash the whole nose! I really like the part where the ghost is tearing the girl's long hair and spinning around the room! A person in the room couldn't help screaming loudly! what!

After reading it and thinking about it, in terms of current property prices, even if the house bought has a fierce ghost, many people will choose to fight it for three hundred rounds to retake the house.

The Conjuring quotes

  • [last lines]

Lorraine Warren: The Vatican approved the exorcism.

    Ed Warren: [scoffs] Nice timing.

Lorraine Warren: And, if we can, then he'd like to meet with us tomorrow. There's a case in Long Island he'd like to discuss.

    Ed Warren: Really?

  • Ed Warren: Diabolical forces are formidable. These forces are eternal, and they exist today. The fairy tale is true. The devil exists. God exists. And for us, as people, our very destiny hinges upon which one we elect to follow.
