The atmosphere is nice. Although for people like me who indulge in horror movies all day. Some deliberately scary scenes have become commonplace. But when it comes to the feeling of the whole film, it's pretty good. I like the couple who exorcised others for free. Very professional and exemplary. Although at the beginning I thought that these two people were just coming out to receive the lunch.

By the way, after watching it, I always thought that this film was a movie from many years ago. The whole feeling is really retro. From the way the devil comes out to the way the actors enter the scene to the way the camera moves. Every minute shows that this is a movie from a long time ago. . but. I only found out when I watched the movie and saw the movie introduction. It turned out to be this year's movie. Really. . . . Ok. . I like it more. . . In fact, I first wanted to watch this film because of the dynamic picture. The white sheet covered a human figure while drying the clothes. . Never thought it turned out to be this year's film. It's amazing.

The kind of genre that I often talk about knowing "doing my duty" and knowing what I want to do may be to blame for my too strong taste, I really didn't think it was too scary. But it’s the kind of very traditional ghost trick that makes the sound effects appear at once. It combines the two ghosts of the haunted house and the exorcism. Perhaps its advantage is the orderly narrative rhythm. The editing and rhythm are very standard types. Films, retro and traditional originals can also be scary. ★★★

The core of the eternal family love, Wen Ziren's lens is very dazzling. The sense of ritual of exorcism is weak, not as good as "The Exorcist", and there is a tribute to Hitchcock.

The Conjuring quotes

  • [last lines]

Lorraine Warren: The Vatican approved the exorcism.

    Ed Warren: [scoffs] Nice timing.

Lorraine Warren: And, if we can, then he'd like to meet with us tomorrow. There's a case in Long Island he'd like to discuss.

    Ed Warren: Really?

  • Ed Warren: Diabolical forces are formidable. These forces are eternal, and they exist today. The fairy tale is true. The devil exists. God exists. And for us, as people, our very destiny hinges upon which one we elect to follow.
