Movie analysis

This movie is very classic, but I haven't watched it, so I watched it this time. After watching it, I feel that the rhythm of this movie is relatively fast, because the whole movie is only 87 points, and in the middle of the movie, Simba the Lion just lost his father, but it only took a little time later. Let’s talk about how Simba grew up, and it will come to an end very quickly in the end. I think this movie anthropomorphizes animals very well. There is a kingdom, a justice, an evil, and a villain. And it also turned a lot of plots into music as the main content, and in some places there will be some special scenes combined with music, which will make it even more beautiful.

Looking at it now, it is very general, still relatively naive, and the plot is more old-fashioned. There is a big gap with the mature adult-oriented animation with a socio-political metaphor structure. Japanese animation is cunning, different from Western animation. Instead of a solid narrative, it follows the path of human emotion, the narrative is lighter, or detached from reality, which is less affected by time factors and lasts longer.

When I was a child at summer camp, I chatted with foreign girls and translated the title into THE ANIMAL KING, cold sweat...

The Lion King quotes

  • Timon: Repeat after me.

    [clears throat]

    Timon: Hakuna Matata.

    Young Simba: What?

Pumbaa: [slower] Hakuna Matata. It means "no worries".

  • Scar: Why! If it isn't my big brother descending from on high to mingle with the commoners.

Mufasa: Sarabi and I didn't see you at the presentation of Simba.

Scar: That was today? Oh, I feel simply awful.
