I watched "The Wallflower Boy" last week. There was sympathy and sentiment in the process of watching it, but the youth movies are not all like this. At the time, I only felt that Hermione’s acting skills were very good. The charming and unruly patrick reminded me of the cute little gay with the same name as patrick in "Pluto Breakfast." The shame shot teenagers became less shy after'Since They Came' and let go and embraced their new life.” The story doesn’t seem to be fascinating, but after half a month, I can’t help but recall the small details. Guys, what makes this seemingly simple and inspirational youth story with so many intriguing qualities?
The protagonist, Charlie, is an adolescent with a rich heart but extremely shameful shots. For him, the high school life full of youth and restlessness is simply a disaster. Finally, after his difficult self-breakthrough, he will fight with patrick and sam, the cool and rebellious pair. The brothers and sisters became good friends, and the audience was like me. I thought that with this setting, Charlie would counterattack as a cheerful and handsome socialite. Later I found out that thinking like this was really an insult to the director's IQ. After contacting Patrick brothers and sisters, Charlie's heart became more surging, but Charlie's timid shackles kept him firmly bound. Finally, after a drug use, Charlie's unknown humorous traits were discovered by others, and he was so smoothly and naturally released. No violation and sense of harmony can promote the plot. Later, Charlie fell in love with sam but did not dare to express any confession to him. From this part, some functional lines were interspersed, and I personally felt that it could be labeled as "a ten-sentence summary of people’s minds and philosophies." For example, when talking about sam's love, "we all accept the love we think we deserve." This kind of chicken soup words that will resonate with individuals will make the movie more attractive. Returning to the story, the plot slowly develops. Unknowingly, Charlie has attracted Elizabeth, a classmate next to Sam. Of course, Charlie, who is still stuck in the crotch, doesn’t know how to refuse. Knowing that he likes Sam, he stays with Elizabeth in a daze. At the same time, it also echoes the motto of "we all accept the love we think we deserve".
Each character in the film is rich and three-dimensional, which makes "Wallflower Boy" stand out in the same type of film. Everyone in the film has their own troubles. The seemingly perfect sam also has his own shackles, so the whole film is not A group of people loves to help someone achieve transformation, but people interact with each other to make each other mature and strong in their hearts.
I like the constant resolution of this contradiction and the setting that everyone is changing, which makes me feel that life is not meaningless.
