desire

You calm down and take a good look at yourself in the mirror. What do you see?

In the early morning day after day, you always feel a little dissatisfied with the self that you must welcome, who is older than yesterday, but you don't want to find out the specific reason. You know that not all problems have a cause. You don’t think it should be so. You can wait for a satisfactory result naturally. Avoidance will only accumulate guilt.

You feel dissatisfied with everything, you long for a dark but active life, you think that the stone in the corner will become the protagonist one day, you feel that you are like such a stone, always like this, but you will not be silent forever In the shadows.

Desire is sometimes pure, because you can ignore it for one second of gaze or an accidental encounter, or you can hold on to it. Letting go does not mean no desire or desire. It may be the pleasure of indulging in regret, or it may be the pleasure of indulging in regret. Recovered mistakes. Obsessiveness is a kind of happy depravity. The longer you are obsessed with someone or something, the more paranoid you will become. People always inject their passion, watching their desires expand and explode like a balloon, and then repeat this constantly. Process, expect to reach the critical point of self-comfort.

The eagerness may be due to eagerness to resist but unable to do anything, or trying to get rid of a long-standing dependence but getting deeper and deeper, or it may not be for any reason.

There are many reasons to end a relationship. There is no longer any desire for an old lover. It can be counted as one. Two people facing each other lose their curiosity about each other and become strangers again. Two people stand under the street lamp where they once hugged and kissed, feeling that love is just a story told by each other.

Many people think that they are rational, or exaggerate rational thinking into their own, independent thoughts, fabricating seemingly reasonable excuses for self-comfort. Whether a person with lofty ideals or a person who did nothing, everyone has been hijacked by unstoppable desires. Crazy dream chasers often have uncontrollable desires, while proud paranoias always dream unique dreams.

You find that there is no yourself in the mirror. Your eyes, mouth, and nose are distorted like Picasso's paintings. Everyone has seen you, except yourself. Your desires are piled up into solid dunes, and the sky is full of wind and sand in the mirror.

I feel that if a person eliminates desire, it no longer exists.

  • Harry Goldfarb: [Harry has just found out that Sara is on diet pills] Does he give you pills?

Sara Goldfarb: Of course he gives me pills. He's a doctor!

Harry Goldfarb: What kind of pills?

Sara Goldfarb: Uh, uh, a blue one, a purple one, an orange one...

Harry Goldfarb: I mean, like, what's in 'em.
