Awesome, five-star recommendation. Calm and delicate, with every detail, quite a sense of measure. He deserves to be the best director of the Oscar, and he is also very restrained when he plays the leading role. Without knowing the history, watching this film is so nervous that the palms are sweaty, and the rhythm is controlled precisely. This tension is not caused by the internal structure of the drama, but caused by the sense of presence similar to the true restoration of history in a pseudo documentary. Hopefully, it will be the dark horse of next year’s Oscars. .

Argo’s success does not lie in the film adaptation of classic cases, nor does it lie in bravely provoking the traditionally sensitive political issues of the United States and Middle East countries, nor does it lie in advocating to the world a heroic feat of friendly cooperation between governments to rescue hostages. Argo is the most worthwhile. The praise is that it cleverly sets a boring political subject with a very documentary theme into suspense and crisis, turning the audience into a tightrope walker and worrying about falling to the ground at any time.

Jack O'Donnell: Brace yourself; it's like talking to those two old fucks on "The Muppets".

Jack O'Donnell: This is the best bad idea we have, sir. By far.
