I think of a book I read in college called "Principles and Compromises", which talked about how the U.S. Constitution and amendments came into being. After reading it, I would like to call it "Struggle and Compromise". There is no right not through struggle. But the blind struggle will inevitably lead to the intensification of the problem, and the problem will not be solved. Therefore, a compromise is needed. It is not you who want to compromise, but someone wants you to compromise. The society cannot only stand alone, but must inevitably require checks and balances. Voters, trade unions, media, political forces, and various organizations and other representatives of various interests have finally reached a compromise through competition. The competition for political interests will inevitably produce and need people like Underwood, who are long-sleeved dance, cold and ruthless, insidious and cunning, unscrupulous, unbelievable, and even murder and arson. Isn't such a person lawless? Don't worry, Underwood also has to be checked and balanced, and can be abandoned if necessary. It's just that there will be more Underwood who are better than blue in the future.
Spacey's monologue is very cheap, but it makes people love it.
