Indiana Jones is the protagonist in the movie. because he was shaped as an classical hero and the movie is mainly about the story about him.
Jones' father is the mentor. He lead and tought Jones to find the tresure. He also could be the mirror. The amount of the communication between Jones and his father reflected the thinking and the emotion of the main character. Henrry Jones is the trickster because his action and the ways of speaking is very funny.
Elsa is the Romance. She is the only women in this movie and have a romance with Jones. She is a the shape shifter too because she is a Nazzi who lied to Jones and did a lot of things to hurt him.
Donovan is the antagonist. Donovan is the one who control the Nazzis to find the tomb. Elsa works for him and he is the biggest barrier to Jones.
Marcus Brody is the mirror.
The director use page turnning and a route on the map to quickly show the time spent travelling. This is an example of Elision.
The Genre of the movie is advanture. The movie is a story about finding the Last Crusade . It doesn't show much about action or romance. For example ,there are only several minutes to tell the romance between Jones and Elsa. Also the action senes are not so facinating as action movies.
