The hero is unarmed, the legend ends

In 2005, I went to the cinema alone to watch a movie for the first time. That movie was called Batman Begins.
In 2012, I cried bitterly in a movie theater for the first time. This movie is called The Dark Knight Rises.
When Christopher Nolan's name appeared on the screen, I couldn't hold myself anymore, and started crying. Everything for seven years was over. The hero is disarmed, and the legend ends.

A hero
is not a god, he has no superpowers, he does not even have a physique beyond ordinary people, and his weapon is inner fear. He thought about and even longed to be able to grow old hand in hand with the person he loved, but his beloved city is so sinful that he cannot give up the love for Gotham that he inherited from his father because of his personal love. In Batman Begins, he was still a young hero, and he gave the people of Gotham hope to punish their sins. In The Dark Knight, he did not hesitate to insult him in order to maintain this hope. Eight years later, the lie was broken and the city plunged into deeper darkness. He could no longer hide in isolation from the world. When the sign of the fire bat was lit on the bridge of Gotham, the knight returned with the faith to save Gotham.
The female
Marion Cotillard portrays a character who has a striking resemblance to Mal in Inception. She gave Bruce infinite tenderness, but in the end gave him an almost fatal blow, this is such a charming woman, and such a femmeine woman. Maybe Bane is just her move, using Bane's obsession with her to obey her to complete her father's grand plan.
Anne Hathaway's Selina Kyle is so amazing, this is definitely a role that female audiences can't stop. If I had doubts about the role of Selina being taken over by this American sweetheart, then I was completely conquered by her in the movie theater. Cat ears with flip-up glasses, black tights, and jagged high heels, this is a Catwoman wrapped in perfection.
Villain
In the first part, they were a group of foreigners who attacked Gotham in an orderly manner. In the second part, he is a sharp blade running through the film, and chaos is his purpose. In the third part, they successfully provoked a riot in Gotham City. Anger and evil flooded every corner of the city. Like the first part, the principle that these villains pursued is that the best way to save the city is to destroy it. . I keep seeing people praising the Heath version of Joker while saying that Batman in TDK is just a foil for the Joker, and after TDKR, some people say that Tom Hardy's Bane is not so good. They are the clown fans, they think it is the clown that made this series of glory, then, I wish they can only meet the clown and no one will save them for the rest of their lives.
Tom Hardy's performance can only rely on the eyebrows and the less vague voice that he has dealt with later, from the tough guy who fought with Batman to the tenderness of Talia with tears flashing at the end, please don't tell me such a character he can't Beyond the clown.
Marion’s Talia is amazing, because Miranda’s goodness is not because the actor played her as a good person, but the actor’s Talia pretended to be a good person. When she volunteered to open the nuclear bomb, she could make people aware of this woman. Something is wrong.
Cillian's chief judge is like a king of fools, sitting high on top of a pile of waste, swinging his hammer, full of madness. "Death or exile?" "Exiled? Coward, let's exile!" "Death? Then take the form of exile!" He used his madness to decide the fate of the trial.
music
The effect of listening to the OST once a day is that I have already kept these melodies in my heart before entering the theater. But when sitting in a movie theater and trembling with every note on the screen, you still feel that this feeling is incredible! Hans Zimmer's soundtrack never disappoints. When every syllable is struck down, the whole person is shaking. The music with a strong sense of the picture and the picture give people a double feeling. When the theme of Batman sounded for the first time, the blood in his veins boiled, and the melody of Imagine The Fire lingered in his mind even after the scene. While the film has a strong soundtrack, there are also many fragments that are more silent than sound at this time. The blank background sound can just more bring out the sad atmosphere of Gotham at this moment. The actor
Bell
is my love, and I don't know how to express this emotion in words. From the first time I saw him wearing a bat costume in the theater that year, I knew I couldn't help but love him. Counting his experience in filming, no one does not admire his dedication and sacrifice. Can't imagine if Nolan's Batman is not Bell, then who else could be. From a child star all the way, he proved his ability with his diligence. No need to repeat, let's say that he is the person who is the foil, thank you, let's not send it away!

There is no immortal hero, no unending story. When a legend comes to an end, perhaps we can expect another legend to kick off. Although it is difficult to part with, we still have to say goodbye.

The Dark Knight Rises quotes

  • Alfred: [to Bruce] Remember when you left Gotham? Before all this, before Batman? You were gone seven years. Seven years I waited, hoping that you wouldn't come back. Every year, I took a holiday. I went to Florence, there's this cafe, on the banks of the Arno. Every fine evening, I'd sit there and order a Fernet Branca. I had this fantasy, that I would look across the tables and I'd see you there, with a wife and maybe a couple of kids. You wouldn't say anything to me, nor me to you. But we'd both know that you'd made it, that you were happy. I never wanted you to come back to Gotham. I always knew there was nothing here for you, except pain and tragedy. And I wanted something more for you than that. I still do.

  • Alfred: [about Selina Kyle] You two should exchange notes over coffee.

Bruce Wayne: So now you're trying to set me up with a jewel thief?

Alfred: At this point, I'd set you up with a chimpanzee if it'd brought you back to the world!

Bruce Wayne: There's nothing out there for me.

Alfred: And that's the problem. You hung up your cape and your cowl, but you didn't move on, you never went to find a life, to find someone...

Bruce Wayne: Alfred... I did find someone.

Alfred: I know, and you lost her. But that's all part of living, sir. But you're not living. You're just waiting, hoping for things to go bad again.
