"Teddy Bear": the first love, the last ritual

The film opens with a fairy tale story: John is an unpopular little boy. He receives a special Christmas gift at Christmas, a bear doll, and when the bear is pressed, he will say "I love you". John named the bear Teddy, and he was inseparable from him, treating him as his best friend. In fact, the dreamy and warm opening is just a trick. The story of this film, even if it is a fairy tale, is only a fairy tale suitable for the adult world. The cute teddy bear cannot conceal the cruelty of the real world.
John hopes Teddy can really talk to himself so that they can become good friends forever. A magical thing happened, and John's wish was fulfilled. Teddy came alive, not only could talk but also act. The background music is singing, everyone needs a good friend. I am very happy, I belong to you.
In a blink of an eye, the little boy has grown up, with a stable job and a girlfriend, and the teddy bear is still with John. Drive John to work, talk to John about jokes that only the two of them can understand, and sing with him when he is afraid of thunder and lightning. Teddy is John's best partner, and Teddy's company also condoned John's refusal to grow up to a certain extent-he is not keen on a new job, does not want to get married, and is immersed in the baby teeth game with Teddy. Finally, at the suggestion of his girlfriend, John kicked Teddy out of the house.
So far, the film is no longer a fairy tale about children and playmates. In fact, Teddy, who grew up with John, is almost the same as a normal adult man except for the appearance of a doll. He was lustful and called a group of beauties to watch TV with him at home; when he was a cashier in the supermarket, he made pornographic jokes to female colleagues and made friends with them in the warehouse. In addition, he was full of swear words, drank, smoked and smoked marijuana, and went against the expectations of society. Compared with the etiquette constraints of normal adult men in society, everything shown by teddy bears is more free and more real. His words and deeds are almost a portrayal of John's true desires.
So when Teddy called John and called him away from his girlfriend, John couldn't refuse, because Teddy knew John's preferences too well. After the girlfriend found out, he was furious. After failing to save his girlfriend, John had a tantrum at Teddy.
Teddy went to find John's girlfriend, hoping that he could help them reconcile. However, contrary to expectations, John asked his girlfriend to break up. At the same time, Teddy was kidnapped by a father and son. The next plot development is the more classic Hollywood model, but this time it is not the hero saving the beauty, but the hero saving the bear. Although there was a little accident in the rescue process, it did not affect the happy ending of the reunion.
Although the film’s tone is relaxed and pleasant, it also implies a yearning for an innocent childhood and a criticism of the cold adult world. When John left, Teddy's body made a sound of "I love you" again. The phrase "I love you" you said in my childhood made me treat you as my best friend and even promised me a lifetime promise. Times have changed. Today, many years later, you still speak the same words, but you can no longer stir the softest ripples in my heart. The lost childhood is like distant stars gleaming in the sky, which can only be missed from afar, and can no longer be held in the palm of the hand.
Bowl. I am very happy, I am your good friend.
