I failed because I fell somersault on the shoulders of giants.

one. Overall feeling
1. It stands to reason that in seven years, the three Batman prequels have been released one after another, and the schedules are basically appropriate. There is neither the influence of shoddy work, nor the oblivion of the audience due to the long time. Coupled with a unified director and production team, "Transformers" will not be split. The time and place are favorable, and the third part should be said to have the foundation for success.

2. For this work, because the level of the second part is too high, it has caused the dilemma of the third part. On the one hand, under the aura of the previous work, standing on the shoulders of giants, as long as there is no big basket and faults , It must be a medium-to-higher work. But on the other hand, it is difficult for the audience not to compare the previous work, and it is easy to draw the conclusion that it has regressed.

3. After the film came out, as expected, the overall quality of the third part is definitely not as good as the second one. It's not that it's really bad, it's just that the previous work is too good, and if you don't advance, you will retreat. In addition, some of the problems in the film are also obvious: the plot is procrastinated, too many clues, the villain cannot stand up, the bridge is old-fashioned, and so on. Of course, there are also some new attempts and explorations, but unfortunately they have not produced any impressive effects. I personally think that I can imagine it this way. I originally wanted to stand on the shoulders of giants to a higher level. As a result, the soles of my feet slipped and I fell somersault.

two. Plot question
1. The importance of the title is self-evident. It is necessary to explain the information, make the appearance of the role, determine the tone, and bury the baggage. The hijacking stage of the opening film seemed a bit sloppy, and the appearance of the villain Bain was too ordinary to catch the eye.

2. As the villain in the bright place, Bain has a simple mind and well-developed limbs compared with the clown. The performance lacks changes and unknowns. In the first half of the story, basically they just kept showing their muscles, juggling martial arts, and slaying without any IQ. Especially the lack of inflammatory and confrontational exchange of lines.

3. Most of the movie's story faults appear in the second act, but this work is a bit strange, the roots of the first act are not played well. I personally feel that the first act has always been the director’s weakness. If the one-hour-long first act in "Inception" was built for the sake of establishing a worldview and is excusable, then the foreplay part of this work can only be used Procrastinated to generalize. In the 30 minutes after the hijacking, there were almost no important plot points. Catwoman stole the necklace, and the old sheriff passed away without any rhythm in an underground distress.

4. Another problem is that the characters in the whole film are scattered, and there is a "replacement" in the villain. First, the director who hired Bain, then Bain, and finally Marianne, the three people broke up the villain's "bad energy" again and again. On the front side, the crowd was also crowded. Batman himself was caught in the middle of the story and suddenly lost his strength, while the old black man Afu, Catwoman, and Jiongsef did their own things. The parallel advancement distracted the audience.

5. Regarding the account of the history of Bain and Marian, the story is shown in the hearsay of the imprisoned Batman. Explaining the spiritual nirvana of Batman and the history of the opponent together, and leaving the audience with a joke behind it, is actually an efficient process. But the problem is that the hearsay is not strong enough. The audience wants to see Wendou and Wudou, screams and fists, instead of listening to a group of prison old men telling the story of the past.

6. When it comes to the true identity of the villain, Bain and Marianne take up a lot of space in the film. From the perspective of script writing, this is actually a very losing business. In order to get the shock of the truth for a moment, the price sacrificed was Bain's simple machinery and the void of Marianne in the first half of the story. More importantly, this turning point took place too late, not in the middle of the film, but at a gradual end, which would not have any reversal effect on the whole story. Marianne died after driving for a while, which felt too perfunctory. Might as well try to portray a villain.

7. The villain’s criminal tactics are not that the more bluffing the concept, the more fierce it is. A nuclear bombing of an entire city is not necessarily more deterrent than bombing a building. The audience has watched so many gangster movies. The bad guys always have different bad guys. The key lies in the cleverness of the process. In cleverness, Bain is far behind the clowns.

8. The chaos in the city lacks a core. In this work, the elements of the police trapped, the prisoners seizing power, and the nuclear bomb crisis are enough, but the civil strife in the city should cover a lot of sociological and humanistic discussions. There are in the film, such as falling into the ice river or being killed directly. Whether the soldiers guarding the bridge fired at Jungsef, whether the police should bear the responsibility in the chaos or stay at home. But these issues are too loose and not directly reflected in a character, so there is actually not much impact. In the previous game, the concepts of justice and evil focused on the protagonist of Batman. Who cares about things that have nothing to do with the protagonist?

9. In order to link up with the whole series, and also received the constraints of the original comics, in this role, there are too many soy sauce roles. For example, if there are too many helpers, the difficulty of the hero is insufficient. For example, Catwoman and Jiongsef both became self-financed Leifeng. The roles of the two are similar. But in fact, the functions and roles of these two people are somewhat overlapped, and together they make the plot trivial and not focused. Personally, I think it would be great if these two people can be strengthened and weakened. Either the process of Catwoman’s change from evil to good will be a little more tortuous, and there will be some surprises of good and evil jumping. And many of Jiongsef’s behaviors can be replaced by the old sheriff. Or let the catwoman take a break and highlight Jiongsef’s rookie master. Don't be like this, the role of a group of characters is too balanced.

10. Another important reason that makes this game look uncomfortable is the lack of frontal conflict of values. In the previous work, the different value orientations of the Joker, Batman, and Half-face to good and evil made the story seem to be ups and downs, but in this work, there is almost no conflict of values. The righteous is too righteous, and the evil is too straightforward. The core of the conflict is that tragic children retaliate against society. In fact, there was more than an hour between Batman and Bain's direct conflicts.

three. Audiovisual issues
1. The action design is not too cool. Anyway, this is always a movie based on heroes and comics, and Batman is a famous comic hero image. Shouldn't it be a vigorous man with a flying cloak? Shouldn't the catwoman be a vigorous figure, jumping around in a tight waist and big breasted tights? As the villain, Bain, besides his fists, can't he have something like a robotic laser gun? The pros and cons of the comics film was filmed into "Rocky". . . . This is too. . . . . .

2. The bridge section is too old. Not only is the fighting design dull, but even many important bridge sections are too ordinary. Let's take the end of Batman's process of sending the bomb to the sea. From the old sheriff boarding the truck, to Batman clutching the bomb, to him flying around and flying into the distance, to the bomb exploding, it was so smooth. There are no obstacles to the use of terrain or the environment. At any rate, there will be a sudden situation. The villain will return to the light and the environment will be worse. Do you think there is a difference between Batman and Iron Man sending bombs? They are flying fast, and there is a portal.

3. In the previous work, we said that you have blurred the boundaries between commercial films and literary and artistic films because you have learned well, and humanity and concepts are combined with explosions and fireworks. But in this role, your character's lines and thoughts are simple and boring, and even the explosions and most of them are not exciting. This is how good it is. . . . .

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Personally, it's a three-and-a-half-star level. The general level of general merchandise.

The Dark Knight Rises quotes

  • Alfred: [to Bruce] Remember when you left Gotham? Before all this, before Batman? You were gone seven years. Seven years I waited, hoping that you wouldn't come back. Every year, I took a holiday. I went to Florence, there's this cafe, on the banks of the Arno. Every fine evening, I'd sit there and order a Fernet Branca. I had this fantasy, that I would look across the tables and I'd see you there, with a wife and maybe a couple of kids. You wouldn't say anything to me, nor me to you. But we'd both know that you'd made it, that you were happy. I never wanted you to come back to Gotham. I always knew there was nothing here for you, except pain and tragedy. And I wanted something more for you than that. I still do.

  • Alfred: [about Selina Kyle] You two should exchange notes over coffee.

Bruce Wayne: So now you're trying to set me up with a jewel thief?

Alfred: At this point, I'd set you up with a chimpanzee if it'd brought you back to the world!

Bruce Wayne: There's nothing out there for me.

Alfred: And that's the problem. You hung up your cape and your cowl, but you didn't move on, you never went to find a life, to find someone...

Bruce Wayne: Alfred... I did find someone.

Alfred: I know, and you lost her. But that's all part of living, sir. But you're not living. You're just waiting, hoping for things to go bad again.
