How should God and man get along?

Let me first think of a question: if one day artificial intelligence evolves the ability to think independently, and even starts to ask their creator-that is, us humans-what to create them, then how will we treat them? Will they eventually accept them and grant them American citizenship, as it did in a movie called "Robot No. 5" many years ago? I don't think it will. We are all people who have seen The Matrix. In order to avoid the fate of batteries, it is estimated that we will more rationally choose to eliminate these machines as soon as possible. If the answer is not so obvious, consider another question: What is one of the most important principles for microbiologists when cultivating bacteria? The answer is to ensure that bacteria do not escape from the laboratory. If these bacteria are found to be of no further research value, they must be eliminated immediately and completely.

The above has nothing to do with the plot of the movie Prometheus.

Before the spoilers, let’s talk about the movie itself: the screen details and the sense of technology are full. The spacecraft has the flavor of the 2001 spacewalk. Some future technologies are really bunkers. Did not deliberately create an atmosphere of horror, but some scenes are indeed horrible. The plot development is slow and jumpy, there is no place that makes people particularly nervous (except for fear) or particularly exciting, and there is no laughter in the whole film. In the opening scene, the 3D effect was extremely shocking. Later, after the scene was transferred to the spaceship and the secret room, I would often forget that I was watching 3D. As the director of "Blade Runner", Scott is still in his ultimate question: Who did we create it? Why did they create us? Will they come back to destroy us one day?

Here is a brief spoiler for the key plot. If you still want to watch the movie in person, or are under 15 years old (official rating), please close your browser yourself.

=============== Spoiler...===========================The

story begins with On the earth in ancient times, a man who looked a bit like Voldemort (but with a nose) was standing next to a waterfall, and a big flying saucer floated from the sky, seeming to pick him away. But seeing him smile contemptuously, opened a small box, drank it, and then quickly poisoned and exploded to death all over his body. Fragments of the body, fragments as fine as DNA, flow into the river with the waterfall, and recombine inside to form new cells...

Then the story came to the end of the 21st century, when two archaeologists discovered a mysterious mural with a few specially arranged stars.

Then the story came a few years later, in a huge spaceship, a handsome guy in a tunic suit was enjoying himself. This scene is very similar to the 2001 spacewalk. Then the spacecraft reported that the handsome guy’s destination had arrived, and the next 17 terrestrial crew members were thawed one after another. The employer told Dajia that we were looking for "engineers", the people who created humans, and told everyone that the handsome guy who had been in charge of sailing the ship It's actually a personal creation. Then the archaeologists stood up and spoke, saying that our purpose of looking for "engineers" was to ask them why they wanted to create humans.

Then the black captain who looked like Jordan successfully parked the ship next to a hemispherical building on the desolate planet. Then came the compact expedition. The archaeologist found the head of an "engineer" and the man-made man brought it back to a jar. When the geologist was looking for the stone, he was accidentally eaten by a snake-like bug. The surviving people went back to the ship and did their own experiments separately. The female archaeologist studied the head and accidentally exploded it, but luckily it didn't turn to ashes. After taking a little bit and studying it, she found that the DNA is the same as a human. At the same time, the cyborg opened the jar he secretly brought back, took a bit of the black liquid in it, and fed it to the male archaeologist. Then the male archaeologist and female archaeologist xxx died the next day after poisoning, this is something later. The next day everyone returned to the castle. The earthlings went to find the geologist who died yesterday. The cyborg sneaked into a secret room, studied the video left by the engineers, and found that the star chart they had discussed had the earth at its core. . On the third day, the heroine, the archaeologist who had just been widowed, performed an operation on her own and gave birth to an octopus-like monster. After a simple dressing, she ran out and found that the boss of the entire ship was awake, and she wanted to see him. Engineer, but his purpose is to ask how to live forever. The hostess said that there were no more engineers, only their bodies, and the humanoid said that there was still one alive. Then they awakened the living one, who was also a big bald head that looked like Voldemort. But this guy didn't say anything after waking up, so the old man and his entourage killed him and turned the head of the robot off. Fortunately, if the hostess always runs, even after the operation has just been done. The engineer ignored her and went straight to sail. The cyborg told the captain through the heroine that the engineer was going to destroy the earth, and those pots contained biochemical weapons. Then the captain played the role of Deng Shichang and knocked down the engineer's ship. The hostess ran fast again, not only was she not killed, but she was saved by the monster she gave birth to when she was caught by the engineer. The monster killed the engineer, and then gave birth to a small monster from the corpse, which was the later alien. Fortunately, it took a long time to give birth to the monster. During this period, the heroine had already taken the artificial human and drove the engineer's spacecraft to start a new adventure.

Okay, now I will try to answer some questions. The name "Engineer" is not cool enough, so I will simply call it "God" in the following.

Q1: Why do gods create man?
A: This question is actually the two archaeologist protagonists want to ask the gods, and then the cyborg asked the male archaeologist why he made him. The male archaeologist said that it might be nothing, just because of this ability. I think this is the answer given by the director: there is no special purpose, just like a bacterial culture experiment, or even an accident. Because from the beginning, the fact that the god standing on earth (that is, Prometheus, the god who created humans in Greek mythology) disintegrated himself seemed to be unexpected by his companions.

Q2: Why did Prometheus create man?
A: I don't know. It may be for fun, it may be dedicated to science (I don’t think this is necessary, he can’t see what it will develop in the future), it may be out of sympathy or love for humans (this is impossible, who will Bacteria moved their emotions to cultivate them). Therefore, the more likely conclusion is that this guy is a terrorist and wants to retaliate against society. Just as there may be terrorists on our planet one day cultivating super bacteria to retaliate against society, Prometheus will avenge his society by cultivating terrestrial people who may one day threaten the Protoss.

Q3: Why do other gods want to destroy mankind?
A: If it's an experiment, then after finishing it, be sure to clean up the bacteria. If it's just an accident, then as the companions of the god who caused trouble before, they are obliged to wipe his butt. If Prometheus is truly a terrorist, then these gods are purely performing peacekeeping missions. This also explains why the god who woke up later saw the earthlings so nervously, he hurried to the earth: Grandma's, these earthlings can come here, and it will be too late if they don't get rid of them!

Q4: How to eliminate it?
A: Biochemical weapons. There are all kinds of DNA in the tube, spilled on the earth, after two years, there will be only bugs on the earth.

Q5: Why was the spaceship of God abandoned?
A: An accident occurred during the development of biological and chemical weapons, and a powerful insect came out, that is, the insect that later ate the earthlings. These gods ran into the boat like crazy, but there was still no time. One god ran the fastest, and all his head went into the warehouse, but he was caught by the closing hatch.

Q6: Why is there still a god who is sleeping, and is sleeping all the time?
A: Maybe his teammates went to work in the biological and chemical weapons laboratory and he slept late, or they deliberately left one person unwoke in order to prevent accidents. Then I was really surprised. I quickly closed the door and ran back, only to run too slowly. Then there is no waking god in the cabin. The manual mode of the sleep cabin is set up. No one turns on the lazy god without waking up. Bugs can’t evolve intelligence and cannot open the cabin, so they just consume it until the people on earth come. Up.

Q7: Why do cyborgs drug the male archaeologist?
A: Do experiment play. I want to see what kind of medicine is sold in the jars of these gods, and what is the effect. Can't guess whether he knew that this thing was a biochemical weapon, or if he saw that the male archaeologist later hung it up, he knew it was a biochemical weapon.

Q8: How do cyborgs know everything?
A: The cyborg is definitely a bug, manipulating God's spacecraft at will, and seems to always know what God is doing. One possibility is that God is just a kind of person, so the way of thinking is similar to that of the earth people. The cyborg has a very high IQ and understands all the knowledge of human beings, so according to the mode of doing things of the earth people to reason about God's behavior, it is natural that things are like gods. Another possibility is that he has some special connection with God? See if there is an explanation for the sequel.

Q9: What is the relationship between gods, humans, insects, and man-made humans?
A: People are full of awe and curiosity towards God, and feel that they have a lot of similarities with God, and even think that God and human beings have the same emotions, then God will be very happy to see people coming; people think that insects are a kind of terrible and terrifying Disgusting stuff; people think that a human being is a perfect machine. God thinks worms are a terrible and disgusting thing, demons created after the experiment fails; God thinks that there is no difference between humans and worms; God does not know that there are artificial humans. The cyborgs don't care much about gods, humans, and insects. They can walk around in the gods' boats, or use people to do experiments, and they are interested in seeing what kind of insects can be born after the experiment. Worms can’t tell the difference between gods, humans, and man-made humans.

Q10: How should God and man get along?
There is a god-man relationship in the movie. God is the god of man and the god of worms, and man is the god of man-made people. Gods are only afraid, and only want to eliminate insects and humans as soon as possible; humans fear God and disdain artificial humans; artificial humans have no feelings for the person who created them. At the end of the film, the heroine and the cyborg set off together, finally realizing the mutual respect and cooperation between the gods and the cyborgs.

To talk a few words, the large-scale story line is like this: the earthling is an alien "created in his own image", and then a group of aliens are responsible for the fixed-point elimination of the earthlings. Unfortunately (or fortunately), there was an accident in the alien's plan, so we can live until now. Then two naive scientists, an old immortal capitalist, and an unsentimental robot-all white people-got into trouble together, awakened an alien, and the earthly people faced the danger of destruction again. Fortunately, there are not only whites in the team. A black captain took an East Asian and another white (to save them some face) and sacrificed himself to save the planet. By the way, there were originally two white men in the boat, and the female boss fled again.

PS How to translate "Big things have small beginnings"? "A single spark can start a prairie fire"?
