in the world, violates God’s will, because he killed at least the
kindest and best character in the film . Trace; at the same time, it is contrary to the connotation that the director wants to express.
So Trace is not dead, so I think there are only two explanations left.
One: Trace’s head is fake. William, who was always calm, thought it was real when he saw it,
and was panicked. Inadvertently a series of actions and words indirectly angered David, causing
him to shoot John and the murderer won. .
Two: Trace head fake, do not calm after William first seen, but thought a moment and Li Ma
white trick of David; with the development of a series of cases, and the last conversation in the car with the murderer of
William this series was beginning to agree with the behavior of the perpetrators of such acts and that the police can make people
wake up, and thus with the murderer angered David after seeing the head, deliberately let the murderer win.
I prefer the second one for the following reasons: 1. Why did William, who calmed down the whole play, become so unstable in the end? With his IQ, he wouldn't be surprised: the less calm he himself is, the more correct what the murderer said to David. But first he threw his gun and asked David to do the same, and then slapped the murderer to tell him not to speak. Have you noticed William's puzzled expression after he fanned the murderer, because even the murderer knew that William was not such an irrational person. This confirms that William is acting.
2. The original intention of the murderer is to use his own pioneers to alert the world and fight for the world instead of indulging in it. At the end of the film, William said: the world is a fine place, and worth fighting for. I agree with the second part. He has to fight to make this world a better place. This view coincides with the murderer. Therefore, I think it was William who agreed with some of the murderer's goals and directed the final ending.
