As magnificent as epic

I remember when I was in junior high school when the first movie of The Lord of the Rings was released. I didn't have much interest in such magical themes. Now I watched the high-definition version by accident.
At the end of the first part, the 9-member team of The Lord of the Rings was divided into three parts. The elven prince Legolas, the dwarf warrior Gimli, the gray-robed wizard (later turned into a white robe) Gandalf, the son of humanity Argorn, the protagonist Frodo and his loyal follower Sam, the funny character team Merry and Pippin, and Boromir in the battle of the forest. A glorious sacrifice.
Let’s talk about Gandalf first. The acting skills of this old British actor who played the principal in "Harry Potter" is of course needless to say. In this movie, he also acts as the protector of the protagonist (the protagonist and Harry look really like Ah the same green eyes-~⊙ō⊙~-), the scene of the battle with the white-robed wizard Saruman is so exciting!
Then there is the fairy prince Legolas. He can only be described by the word “shocked as a heaven and man”. Although he is not the protagonist, he rode and shoots arrows to kill the enemy, even just a smile makes me crazy (please forgive my terminally ill nympho o(∩_∩)o, I don’t know how many girls I fascinated back then. They are really handsome and beautiful. My favorite is the two close-up shots in the movie, one is turning on a horse, the other is stepping down the stairs and shooting arrows to kill the enemy in the castle battle. Looks handsome! Can't you give me more shots, please?!
Dwarf warrior Gimli, this red-haired dwarf is very cute, he is very brave when he swings an axe to kill an enemy, and occasionally tells a joke, and don’t forget to talk to the beautiful boy when he kills the enemy. In the elf game, it seems that every blockbuster
movie will have a character like "Zhang Fei". Next is the undead war god Argorn. Suddenly I feel that this word is suitable for him. The battle is fierce, and at most minor injuries, falling from the waterfall must be dead. No. The relationship with the fairy princess Awen is also sighing. In addition, he also killed a King Rohan who has a crush on him.
The protagonist Frodo and his loyal follower Sam: The protagonist interprets well and is always bewitched by the Lord of the Rings repeatedly. The feeling of being divided in the heart plays well. His compassion and his intolerance are all reflected in Gollum. The ugly and very neurotic thing. The fat man and classmate Sam looked like a good guy, so he was chosen by Gandalf as the protagonist's partner. In this movie, he was caught by Faramir, the brother of the dead hero Boromir. The latter has been depressed, living in the aura of his brother and the distrust of his father. Fortunately, he finally woke up to fight side by side with the squad, which is gratifying.
Merry and Pippin continue to be impulsive and funny characters in this movie. These two dwarfs are so cute, and they feel good looking at them. But after tangling with Shuren for a long time, I looked anxious to death. Fortunately, in the end the tree man also joined the war, which was a good ending.
This is indeed an epic-like film, with special effects and characters in place. I look forward to the next one. o(∩_∩)o

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers quotes

  • [Aragorn walks through the ranks of Elven defenders of Helm's Deep]

Aragorn: [In Elvish] Show them no mercy... for you shall receive none!

  • Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.

Aragorn: [whispering to Eowyn] It's the beards.

Gimli: And this in turn has given rise to the belief that there are no Dwarf-women, and that Dwarves just spring out of holes in the ground!

    [Eowyn laughs]

Gimli: Which is, of course, ridiculous.
