A model of entertainment film with very sophisticated plot design

1. I am not a fan of the "Mission Impossible" series, but I am looking forward to it before the release of the fourth part. The main reason is because of director Brad Bird. Although this man has not directed a live-action movie before, he has demonstrated extraordinary imagination and narrative skills with his two masterpieces, "Superman" and "Ratuitou." Even in the cartoons "produced by Pixar, it must be a boutique", the above two works are among the high-level works. So I have been looking forward to it.

2. After watching, I feel that this may not be the best one in the series, after all, the first one was too successful. However, purely from the perspective of ordinary people, this "Mission Impossible 4" is indeed the most entertaining one in the series.

3. The film story is concise and smooth, without any unfamiliar or obscure feeling; the narrative is clean and neat, without muddle-headedness, and there is almost no useless plot piled up.

4. The several team actions shown in the film are very cleverly designed and have no similarities. All shots are both thrilling and interesting, and they look really smooth and enjoyable.

5. Let me talk about the paragraph in Dubai separately. This paragraph can be called the best of the whole film. What impressed me the most was neither the high tower bungee jumping nor the yellow sand covering the sky, but the scene where the team members cross-connect with the buyers and sellers who originally planned to trade in different rooms. The drama is really full of tension, which is amazing. In general, from the group to Dubai to the chase in the sandstorm, I can almost give full marks in this part.

6. The high-tech equipment shown in the film is quite interesting, dazzling and basically true and credible. Especially the projector, it's so fun.

7. The design of the parking building at the end of World War I was also excellent. The up, down, left, and right movement of the parking building resulted in many changes, which looked unconventional and really good.

8. There are more humorous elements than the previous three parts combined, and knowing laughs were made many times during the movie watching. The jokes are also clever, not low-level, and quite natural.

9. There is only one regret, that is, it seems that the villain is really a bit weak, and the scenes are quite small, and it seems that there is less sense of tit-for-tat confrontation.

10. With this film, I really want to re-examine Tom Cruise. I believe that every viewer who has watched this film will applaud Tom's dedication. After all, he is a 50-year-old man. It is very admirable to work so hard for the film. As an actor, there should be no regrets in having a series like "Mission Impossible" as a masterpiece.

11. Strictly speaking, this film is still a spy film. There are not many action special effects scenes that really shake the world and howl. But the smoothness and interestingness of the plot is still worth our approach to the theater.

ps: The familiar fuse of the title is ignited, and the plot flashes back into it. When I think of it with the familiar music, it is really exciting...

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol quotes

  • Benji Dunn: I'd be more worried about the heat.

William Brandt: [pauses] And then there's that. What heat?

Benji Dunn: Well it's just like any other computer. If you switch the fan off it's gonna get pretty hot in there.

    William Brandt: Heh. Of course.

    Benji Dunn: Relatively.

William Brandt: So I'm jumping into a... an oven, essentially.

Benji Dunn: Yeah, essentially. But, uh, I catch you.

    William Brandt: Great.

  • Jane Carter: [Telling Ethan about agent Hanaway, who was killed by a female assassin in the course of Carter's field op] It was my op. I put him in the field. And she left him just alive enough for me to see him die.
