Russell Crowe, the real Gladiator

It is Russell Crowe again, a tough and tender man, a good husband and a good father who loves his wife and children deeply. Russell Crowe seems to have innate expressive power for this kind of role. There is no need for deliberate interpretation and close-up, no need for irrelevant memories and narratives, one of his actions, one look, and even his voice are all appropriate and good to explain the image of a hard-hearted hero. Unlike Block in "Tekken Man", Maximus finally died with longing and happiness, and went to meet his beloved wife and son in heaven. Although there are some disappointments and regrets, the hero is not always favored by God, with grief and sigh, or people will remember him more firmly.
