A fierce battle

Under the banner of the last X-Men series, Fox has indeed earned quite a strong box office. The box office in the first week occupied the fourth place in the box office of the film in the first week, which shows how much American audiences love this series.

However, the effects of the movie are not appreciated by everyone. Many people think that this so-called last movie overturns the plot and character shaping laid down by the first two movies. The poor laser eye was killed by the woman he loved so much, and the scenes didn’t even come out. Alice, although he can finally see his true face, but the performance opportunities are really pitiful. Professor X can't get any better, because Jane has been killed and separated and broken into pieces. Both the charming Transfiguration Girl and Magneto have lost their superpowers. Many viewers will be quite dissatisfied with this arrangement, complaining that Brett Ratner, who took up the post, had bad filming, and thought he was still suitable for making some noisy films.

From my point of view, the characterization is indeed inferior to the previous two, and the newly added characters do not have enough room for development. It is indeed difficult to show so many mutants in one and a half hours. Especially the angel, as the main newcomer in the promotion, he only appeared in a few scenes, a role that can be ignored. And the orc has been my favorite character since the beginning of the animation. He has become a diplomat of humans and mutants. He was newly added to this film and became the second blue character, but the original blue deformed girl was killed. Deformation ability, restored to her beautiful appearance. The shot she transformed can only be described as glamorous and yet weak. It is no longer the pride and strength of the deformed woman in the past, but has become an abandoned kitten. The Storm Girl and the werewolf both dominate the protagonist position as before, but they are still inferior to the dual personality role of Jane. This time, she did her best and became the final boss, and so far the only level 5 superman. But Famke Janssen's performance gave people a mediocre impression. In fact, no character's performance was outstanding. Everyone's attention is not on the performance, but attracted by the special effects in the film.

What I was excited about was all because of the special effects, the maelstrom in the lake when Jane was resurrected, and the changes in her eyes and face when she exerted her power. These special effects fully reproduce the abilities of the characters. Director Brett Ratner was quite successful in terms of scene control, especially in the end of the attack on Devil's Island, where a large number of superhumans swarmed on the side of Magneto, and the confrontation with the military's various weapons was quite worth seeing. In terms of the scene, it cannot be described as grand, but it also makes the blood boil after seeing it. All of these must be attributed to a large number of dazzling computer special effects. You must know how exciting the scene where Jane uses her power to destroy everything. It can only be said that this must be seen in the theater to experience the enjoyment.

But the criticized fighting scene has been weakened. Indeed, I agree with this point. In the second part, the fight between the demon queen and the werewolf was really fun, and in this part, the only thing that can make people think is the only fight between the storm girl and the fast girl, but it was only two or three rounds. It's over. The newly joined stone man was also dealt with by a kid in the chase.

This film is definitely not the last one. From the scene after the end of the subtitles, it is obvious that there is a foreshadowing: the nurse walked into the ward, and there was a patient lying in it. He couldn't see what it looked like, but the nurse was surprised and murmured after seeing him. The mouth shape "JACK". Obviously it implies the following story, and the werewolf's life experience has not been understood, and the relationship between him and Jane and the laser eye has not been clearly explained. Then look forward to its announcement that it will indeed start shooting! !

Eric Lensherr: I still don't know why *I'm* here. Couldn't you just make them say yes?

Prof. Charles Xavier: Yes, I could, but it's not my way. And I would expect you, of all people would understand my feelings about the misuse of power.

Eric Lensherr: Ah, "power corrupts" and all that. Yes, I know, Charles. When are you going to stop lecturing me?

Prof. Charles Xavier: When you start listening. And you're here because I need you.

  • Dr. Hank McCoy: He's going for the boy!

Kitty Pryde: Not if I get there first!
