There was a voice in my heart saying, let's watch a movie. Yes, watching a movie, my friend copied several movies for me last time, just to help me pass the afternoon.
Who knows, it was the best movie "Mind Catcher" I ever watched in college. I remember crying so much when I watched it before, and then I remember that it was a very good movie.
Years later, I will meet this movie again, maybe my fate with it is not over yet. I met this movie again at this time, and felt that it was an angel to heal a wounded soul.
Will, a very smart boy. God, sometimes I always marvel at why some people can be so smart. However, he does not have a stable job. He has been repeatedly heard by the court because he was involved in beatings and troubles.
At MIT, Professor Rambo is a mathematics genius and won the highest honor in mathematics. One day, he laid a math puzzle in class, claiming that students who solve this problem will be honored by MIT and recognized in the mathematics community. Will, a cleaner at MIT, wrote the answer to the math puzzle on the blackboard when people were not paying attention.
Soon after, Professor Rambo posed another problem that he and his colleagues had not solved after two years of hard work. This time, the cleaner Will wrote the answer again, only to be met by Professor Rambo and other assistants while he was writing the answer.
With a sense of scarcity in his heart, Will yelled at Professor Rambo and ran away.
Professor Rambo made up his mind to find Will. The location is in court. Yes, Will went to court again because of a fight. The judge said he must go to jail this time. Professor Rambo, who discovered the genius, is determined to save Will on the condition that
Will meet with him every week.
Will accepts counseling from a psychologist and provides regular reports to the judge.
So, Will's inner growth path starts here.
Professor Rambo asked Will a well-known psychiatrist in the United States. Those psychiatrists are famous and have their programs on TV. However, they all ran away in front of Will. The clever Will used his cleverness, and the psychologists were afraid to face their own fears, so the treatment failed.
Finally, Professor Rambo decided to seek advice from his old classmate, Professor Sean.
The whole treatment process was ups and downs, and Will used his cleverness to see through Professor Sean's past emotional experience. Professor Sean, who lost his wife, was hit and clamped Will's neck. But he still chose to continue counseling Will. During the treatment, Professor Rambo was eager to know the progress, and because of this, he had a few disputes with Professor Sean. Rambo cherishes genius and hopes to see Will have a building in the mathematics world. And Professor Sean valued the internal growth of the visitor, giving Will enough space and time (Will chose to be silent in both psychological consultations, and did not open his heart). As the treatment progressed, Will opened his heart. He talked about his encounter with the girl he liked, and Professor Sean shared his own life story with Will.
No one is perfect, only whether it will fit together.
Encouraged by Professor Sean, Will boldly dated Scarlett. However, Will fear Scarlett knows his dark side, for example, he is an orphan and has been abused by his adoptive father. He told Scarlett that he had many brothers, but he never took Scarlett to visit his brother. When Scarlett invited Will to California, Will refused.
Will has three buddies in Boston. One day, his best friend said to him, I admire your talents, and I don't want you to live in this dilapidated house when you are 50 years old. If one day, when I drive to pick you up to work, you are no longer there, it will be my happiest time, because you finally treat your talents to do the work worthy of you.
At the end of the treatment, Professor Sean chose to travel, and Will decided to go to California to find his Scarlett.
Both Sean and Will have grown from this treatment process. I have always felt that psychological counselors not only provide a service to visitors, but also grow up from this process of treatment. Sean is like this. He chose to put aside his years of teaching and the grief over the death of his beloved wife in the past, and decided to travel to Asia. This is not a new starting point for his life.
Will forged a deep friendship with Sean from the treatment, and his heart grew. He opened his heart and talked about his past with Sean, and his personality grew day by day. Finally, he also expressed his gratitude to Dr. Rambo through Sean.
A feeling, yes, a feeling, Scarlett met Will, and Will met a responsible and compassionate counselor Professor Sean, it finally reaped her love.
In reality, there are many Scarlett and Will. They met and fell in love, but in the end they couldn't get together because there was no Sean or they chose not to see Sean.
Inner growth is the subject of life after life. If you can't learn it, the same pattern will continue to happen until you learn it.
Sometimes, one thing happened, which made people very painful, just like Professor Sean's loss of his beloved wife, which made him firm on his journey of psychotherapy. A storm in life is indeed painful for the protagonist of each story, but if you can find the gift brought by this storm, things will change and you will be grateful for the storm.
This movie also made me deeply feel that a good therapist, his experience will fill him with compassion, and he will be able to understand the client’s difficulties better. Professor Sean’s persistence in the treatment process also moved me. Genius is indeed a pity, but internal growth requires space and time for visitors. I am also very moved by Will. He finally chose the path of growth. I am really moved.
Everyone has a free will. Even if there is a blueprint for life, we can still choose our future. Will chose to grow up, and his life was changed.
Change does not fall from the sky. He needs a person to make a choice, he needs courage, he needs to face his dark side bravely, and he needs to work hard. Will did it.
I met Will, but I didn't see Sean.
I am grateful for everything this movie has taught me.
