Although there are many shortcomings, the movie "Dead Hallows 2" after all retains two of my favorite sentences from the entire "Harry" series (both of them are spoken by Principal Deng who dislikes, but I will not talk nonsense because of people XD ):
Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and above all, those who live without love.
Do not pity the dead, Harry. Show mercy to those who are alive, especially those who are alive but don't have love. - one of the themes of the book
Of course it is happening inside your head , Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?
These things happen in the course of your head, Harry, but how can you explain It's not real? —— It is almost the author's self-summary of the entire series, some proud, and some emotions, and it is also the truth. This story once only happened in Rowling’s mind. After more than ten years, it has achieved sales of tens of millions of copies. The most-grossing series of movies in history, a theme park, countless fans were inspired and fascinated-really can’t be anymore Really. The power of concepts. The power of imagination. Even magic is beyond the reach.
The finale
"Dead Sacred Part 2" is the finale of the entire "Harry Potter" movie series. Harry and the others returned to Huo School, and the end came back to the starting point. The characters and monsters from Book 1 to Book 7 came to bid farewell, and by the way the school was turned into a ruin, which was more appropriate.
I remember that when I watched "The Eight Parts of the Dragon", I learned a term called "wuxue barrier", which would be encountered by Shaolin monks who practice Buddhism. If you practice martial arts deeply, there will be obstacles to the practice of Buddhism, and you can't figure it out. There is also a "knowing and seeing obstacle", which means that too much knowledge can hinder the enlightenment of Buddhism. I can understand all of this, so today I coined a term "original work barrier", which means that the original work is too thoroughly eaten and hinders the appreciation of the movie.
Yesterday, when I watched "Dead Sage II" for the first time, I was living in the state of "Original Obstacle". For each scene, I have a set of preconceived images in my heart. Needless to say, my images cannot be processed in the same way as the movie. So in my eyes, the rhythm of the whole movie is either too fast or too slow (mostly when it is slow) , The color tone is either too bright or too dark, the scene is either too monotonous or too messy, the performance is either too hard or not strong. My mentality and its presentation are totally unmatched.
So very unhappy. I don't want to dislike this movie. The "Harry" movie has also been with me for ten years, although I am not a post-90s, but a post-70s. This series accompany me to grow old, almost as important as accompany me to grow up, if not more important.
When I watched it for the second time today, I adjusted my expectations and tried not to think about my own version (every book fan has his own adapted version), and I feel better. At least I understand many processing methods of the movie version, and try to follow the logic and flow of the movie.
Make a list, it's clearer. Spoiler warning again!
Favorite:
1. Here lies Dobby, a free elf. Dobby’s tombstone is there after all. Gratified.
2. Ollivander and Harry answered questions and reviewed the three death saints calmly.
3. Griphook makes a deal with Harry to illuminate the habits of the Gryffindor sword.
4. In the festival when Hermione became Bella, Helena's performance was invaluable.
5. The dragon of Gringotts. Pale, tortured (Pavlovian conditioned reflex test), scarred, people can only applaud for its regaining freedom. When the dragon took off, the London Eye appeared in the lower right corner of the screen, and I suddenly crossed to "Sherlock". XD
6. Voldemort spoke to Nagini in a snake-like voice, explaining the character's mood.
7. In the portrait, Ariana (Principal Deng’s younger sister) has a precise selection of roles, and the girl has a very strange temperament.
8. The Return of Neville Longbottom
9. Harry faced Snape head-on. Great changes, but make the plot compact, and also highlight the character of the characters. No comment. It was a small surprise.
10. Professor McGonagall activates the samurai statue in the castle. The picture is excellent. After Professor Mai gave a strict order, he suddenly acted like a child: I wanted to use that spell a long time ago. very cute.
11. Relive the details of Simon's love to set fire. I remembered the period in the first episode where he burned the feathers of the Levitation Curse.
12. Voldemort shines. What a lovely, lively lunatic.
13. Snape shines. Alan Rickman has been used by underachievers for ten years, has a face for ten years, and has been grotesque for ten years, and finally shows the power of Shakespeare's big names. Although that is just a small test.
14. Luna: Harry Potter, stop and listen to me!
15. There is tension in the Harry and Grey Lady scenes, but I am not very used to it.
16. The kiss between Ron and Hermione, not bad, very cute. Although I really want to see the treatment in the book is performed.
17. Ravenclaw's crown is so beautifully done. The whole scene in the House of Needs is great.
18. Snape's memories. The little actors are very cute. The key scenes are explained.
19. After Harry learned that he was going to die, Xiao Dan's back and eyes. Good performance is still to be praised.
20. The resurrection stone and the forbidden forest. It is not easy to reproduce the scene in the book almost intact. Xiao Dan kisses the golden snitch, which is not sexy.
21. King's Cross. It's not very good, but Xiaodan's style is finally better. "Harry, you wonderful boy! You brave, brave man." Also reserved, pleased.
22. When Mrs. Malfoy decided to lie to Voldemort that Harry was dead, that turned around and looked at him, killing him.
23. Neville kills the snake.
24. Treatment of the Malfoys.
25. After the battle, there is a kind of British low-key handling. I don't get used to it at first, and then I feel comfortable when I look at it.
26. Ending. The innocent theme music sounded, returning to the place where it started that year, a close-up of the 9th and 4th platform.
Dislikes:
1. Ron was ignored! ! ! ! ! Many times! ! ! !
2. It was Harry's idea to escape by riding a dragon, so why give it to Hermione? is this necessary?
3. The Aphrodite section is too scribbled. Xiao Dan was terribly stiff.
4. Harry and Ginny still didn't call at all. Don't count on it anymore.
5. The atmosphere in the early stage of the Huo school defense battle is not bad, but there is no structure after the start. The interweaving of individual dramas and group dramas is very random. Most of the time, group dramas are only background, which reduces the cruelty of the battle, and there is no rhythm. It is recommended that the director concentrate on studying the Battle of the Valley of the Helm in "The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers" for the next ten years.
6. Before Harry went to the Forbidden Forest to die, Hermione and Ron actually knew the reason and purpose of his trip. Rubbish! Where does this treatment put Hermione and Ron? Will they let Harry go to death?
7. Lupin and Tonks have no dying scenes in the book, nor in the movie. And Fred didn't even have it. Crying. People who don't look down on it.
8. Harry and Voldemort's "you jump, I jump." is really strange. Voldemort can fly, Harry! It's the same whether you jump or not.
9. Neville suddenly fell in love with Luna? ? ? ! ! ! WTF? Is this necessary?
10. In the end, Harry Voldemort singled out, but there was no audience! ! ! No. give. force.
Harry went back and said: Hey guys, I killed Voldemort.
Everyone said: Really? Where's the corpse?
Harry: Just kidding, he's Voldemort, he's flying like a butterfly in the sky after his death.
Everyone: You are just kidding. You said you killed Voldemort, who saw it? To live to see people, to die to see corpses. Do you want to make a sequel or something?
Harry: Wrong, Aunt Rowling said, there will be no sequel. I'm all developing into stage play. What do you want from me?
Everyone: How is it? not very good. We just want to see you two heads-up. I didn't think you were already private. Disappointed.
Disheartened, Harry smashed the elderberry wand into two pieces and went back home and gave birth to three children.
Started to talk nonsense. Say a few more words and go to sleep. In short, the last "Harry" has a good reputation right now, and a large part of the reason is that everyone wants to like it, and they all have a relationship with it. When everyone calms down, they will find that it has the same flaws as other "Harry" movies. In addition, some of the passages of Yates's films are better than the whole, and the overall spirit is not connected, and they are not masterful.
I sincerely hope that somewhere in the world, someone who has the right to make a decision is considering making "Harry Potter" into a series. I also hope that like other popular classics, "Harry Potter" has more than one adaptation. The movie version that just ended, although destined to occupy an unshakable classic status, there are too many dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction.
