A family who can't live a normal life

This is the last Pixar feature film I've seen so far-I didn't see this film that was released in 2004 until half a year after "Toy Story 3" was released. However, this animated film gave me a lot of feelings that I had never felt when I watched Pixar movies before.

Let's take a look at the big villain Mr. Chao Jin in the movie. To be honest, when I first saw him, I didn't expect him to become a big boss later. After reading it and thinking about it again, I feel that the purpose of his initial research may be to prove to those super people that he can do what Superman can do, but as the research progresses, His purpose has also become no longer pure, and even his ambitions have swelled up, and in the end it has finally become such a situation. Mr. Chao Jin’s depravity may reflect the sinister and unpredictable changes in human nature. But judging from the final result, what I want to say is that Mr. Chao Jin did not lose to Superman in the end, but he lost to himself-the things he made were actually even taken by himself in the end. Instead, let others clean up the mess for him, which also reflects the blindness and limitations of his research.

Okay, it's time to talk about the Superman family. The Superman couple, who chose to retreat because of that incident, wanted to live a normal life. But they have given up their superpowers, but they can only support their families by running around work every day like ordinary civilians. The life was hard and peaceful, and later they also had their own children.
But this calm seems destined to be broken. The hostess Elastic Superwoman wants to maintain such a peaceful life, but she has to notice that their children are just like them with superpowers, and they always get into trouble because they can't control them. At this time, the male host, Mr. Chao Neng, also had a problem. He was fired by the company boss because of an accident, but he picked up his super powers again in order to make a living, but he was afraid that his family would oppose him, so he could only secretly hide it from his surroundings. People do it...
When the elastic superwoman knew all this, she naturally chose not to go back. The Superman family finally re-emerged. It seems that the status of superman makes them unable to calm down and live a life without superpower after all.

The film seems to be as incredible as the title "The Incredibles" says. Although it is about the story of Superman, the Superman in this film is not like the superman in other animations, which is the "big hero" image. The Superman in this article has a strong personality of ordinary people, and it also makes them have A lot of ordinary people's emotions and sorrows.
Human nature, retreat, family, work, mid-life crisis... It is hard to imagine that I can find so many words in this animation, which also makes me feel that this film is the most complicated part of the core thinking in Pixar's work. However, so many elements are arranged very reasonably in the animation, and it does not make people feel messy.
In several places in the later stage of the film, unexpected plots appeared immediately when people felt that it had stopped, which immediately tightened the nerves that were about to relax. In the end, the film paved the way for the sequel.
The short film "Jack-Jack Attack" released as a special occasion is a good supplement to the plot of this story. The two works together seem to have a better effect.

The Incredibles quotes

  • Edna: Men at Robert's age are often unstable... prone to weakness.

    Helen: What are you saying?

Edna: Do you know where he is?

    Helen: Of course...

Edna: Do you *know* where he is?

  • Syndrome: You, sir, truly are Mr. Incredible. You know, I was right to idolize you? I always knew you were tough, but tricking the probe by hiding under the bones of another super? Oh, MAN! I'm still geeking out about it!

    [sigh]

Syndrome: And then you just had to go and ruin the ride. I mean, Mr. Incredible calling for help?

    [Mocking voice]

Syndrome: Help me! Help me! Lame, lame, lame, lame, *lame*!
