Perhaps everyone has had such a childhood, dreaming of possessing endless magical abilities, dreaming of being a noble princess and prince, and the ending of the fairy tale is naturally Happy ending. The Ophelia in the movie is just a 12-year-old girl, innocent and beautiful, with the hobbies of most people when she was young, and loves fairy tales. She met her world in Pan's maze. On the other hand, her stepfather, a fascist officer, was fighting the Spanish guerrillas. In the movie, there are no uncommon arms, sawn limbs, and cut corners of the mouth. This is another world, a cruel but alive world. .
In the movie, only Ophelia bears the intersection of the real world and the fairy tale world.
