Every once in a while, I will revisit this epic of war that Spielberg presented to us.
Actually, I don't know anything about this film except Tom Hanks, but what about it.
One mother, four sons, three died on the battlefield, and one was still alive after landing in Normandy. Eight people went to the war-ridden hinterland just to find someone who might still be alive.
After finally finding Ryan, he was unwilling to follow the rescue team back to the back of the battlefield. Instead, he insisted on defending a strategically important place with his comrades-a bridge.
In fact, they can ignore Ryan and leave, and then report to their superiors that he has been killed.
But they didn't.
They are soldiers.
The duty of a soldier is to obey, so even if it is to take his own life, he must let Ryan return to his mother intact.
I don't know why there are wars in the world, or why people are willing to give their lives to win the victory for a man who is passionate about violence and destruction.
The American spirit is the spirit of heroes.
In fact, China used to advocate heroism, right?
Guan Yu Wenjiu cuts Huaxiong, Zhao Zilong rides alone the savior, and the Chinese warriors who bravely defeated more enemies with fewer enemies in the War of Resistance Against Japan.
But why, once we are in crisis, we are so ununited now?
We can say: it's nothing to do with ourselves, it's hanging up high. Then
we can for themselves and others desperate.
We can give up our faith for our own benefit.
We can lose our dignity in order to survive.
How sad this is.
Saving Private Ryan is not just the hope of a mother who has lost three sons.
What we save is the hope of a nation, a country’s respect for life.
It is a kind of human care of a country for those who have made great contributions to the motherland.
What is saved is that everyone can willingly give their lives for brothers, for their relatives, or even for people who do not know each other, to give their lives a love that transcends the survival instinct.
Thank you for bringing Ryan back intact.
Thank you for saving my hope.
