I think of a Hong Kong movie "New Hard Brothers" I watched before. The plot is so similar. Maybe I like Hard Brothers better, but it is undeniable that "New Hard Brothers" would not be possible without "Back to the Future".
From the time the male protagonist witnessed the obesity and aging of his mother and the weakness of his father, both Weizi and J.fox went back to the past. The difference is that what Wei Tsai saw was a brave brother who was completely different from the incompetent father he knew, while what J.fox saw was still weak and inaction. But anyway, I still like "Back to the Future", because he is the kind of headless comedy dedicated to 1985. It's as silly and cute as we remember our childhood, but innocent. Except for the B film world, such a series will not be available in the 21st century.
