Although it will make me laugh at the special effects and outlook of the future in 1985, there are only those old Frankensteins who are exclusive to 1985 and do not need to pretend to be deep.
When you see Matsushita Electric in 1985, you will feel that you have also been brought to the past by the movie, like the male protagonist, returning to the age before he was born.
I think of a Hong Kong movie "New Hard Brothers" I watched before. The plot is so similar. Maybe I like Hard Brothers better, but it is undeniable that "New Hard Brothers" would not be possible without "Back to the Future".
From the time the male protagonist witnessed the obesity and aging of his mother and the weakness of his father, both Weizi and J.fox went back to the past. The difference is that what Wei Tsai saw was a brave brother who was completely different from the incompetent father he knew, while what J.fox saw was still weak and inaction. The same is that they were surprised that they had never seen such a beautiful mother. Even if my mother Carina Lau did not notice this handsome son like J.fox's mother, but in the end she really married Wei Zai, is it a kind of prophecy? Going far.
When everything is about to end, we see the end. Because of J, Fox's future efforts, everything has undergone earth-shaking changes. Because his father was inspired to become a science fiction writer and led a rich life, his mother would not become fat or ugly. Even the once unreasonable bastard succumbed to him because of his father's strength. So he has a new life, and it will become very beautiful. But it seems to make viewers happy, but always feel that something is missing. It seems too unreasonable. But it succeeded anyway.
In contrast, I think the ending of "New Difficult Brothers" is the sublimation of this film. Although they follow the same story line as "Back to the Future", they have very different emotions. When Wei Zai came back from the past, all the joy was over. The father in front of him still looked old and weak, and his mother was still fat and ugly. But when he understood the beauty and unforgettable memories of the past, he was more touched and moved their relief of reality. Maybe everything is not as perfect as imagined. The love gained by handsome princes and famous ladies will also be buried in reality in the near future, and some just remember him forever. This is a deep understanding.
But anyway, I still like "Back to the Future", because he is the kind of headless comedy dedicated to 1985. It's as silly and cute as we remember our childhood, but innocent. Except for the B film world, such a series will not be available in the 21st century. I only hope that it will also become a time machine, allowing viewers to appreciate the unique characteristics of the 80s.
