Going to watch a Harry Potter movie is not so much an expectation as it is a habit. No matter how thrilling the special effects are, they are not as imaginative as the original text. The progress and changes made by the protagonists over the past seven years are not as good as the character portrayal that has been deeply rooted in the original book.
Yes, what I read is an infinitely beautiful fantasy story that never gets tired of. What I watched is just a magical blockbuster that ended hastily with a skeleton.
Since when did you like fantasy stories? Those fairy tales about sword and magic, love and courage, friendship and justice.
The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Battle of Rhode Island, The Chronicles of Narnia, and even the Sorcerer of the Bean, Dick the Imp, the Wizard of Oz, etc., are the most exciting and imaginative plots in retrospect.
Do you want to escape? Both parents died, and Harry Potter, who had been neglected and bullied since he was a child, found out on his 11th birthday that he was actually a wizard. The four siblings, who had stayed away from their relatives in order to escape the war, hid in hide-and-seek in the closet, but saved Narnia.
Spells, elves, magicians, talking animals, magical continents, the struggle between justice and evil...
Such slightly tortuous fairy tales may not just be reading for children. It is the key to bringing adults back to those simple obsessions and beautiful dreams that have been forgotten.
Faith, the magic power that comes with one's body; fate, a journey full of adventure.
Western fantasy stories are a bit like Chinese martial arts novels, they also tell a world that does not exist. In that world little people grow up little by little, their friendship and love, their faith and bravery, and most importantly, their luck.
Their luck lies in the fact that they can live forever in the world of swords and magic that I desire so much.
