"Little Miss Sunshine" is undoubtedly a requiem dedicated to all Loser. It does not show the plot of the dog's blood ascending to heaven in entanglement, but tells you Loser You can unite by going crazy, in order to temporarily get rid of the entanglement.
This is a film without a big name. The director is a husband and wife file. The ace MV director in the pop music industry has won a Grammy. This is their big screen debut. Under the banner of an independent film, the movie follows the running track of mainstream movies. It is a family movie, a road movie, and a comedy movie. But after all, it did not cater to the audience as naked as a commercial movie.
The movie describes a tangled home. In this family, there is a grandfather who was expelled from a nursing home. He was full of swear words and took drugs; there was an elder brother Dwayne who took a dumb oath to shut himself down; there was a gay uncle Frank who attempted suicide; and there was a father who had not been successful in promoting successful studies. The 7-year-old protagonist Olive lives among them. She wears glasses and has a big belly, but she has always dreamed of being elected Miss America one day. The only normal person in this family is mother. On this day, as usual, war broke out at the dinner table. During the quarrel, the phone rang, and Olive unexpectedly got the chance to participate in the selection of "Little Sunshine Girl". So the family embarked on a dream-seeking journey.
This kind of plot seems very old-fashioned. During the journey to California, these people began to re-recognize themselves and their relatives. I was more impressed. When the grandpa who had been arguing with his father was hit hard by his father’s career, he walked over and patted him on the shoulder and said, son, you have always been my pride; when grandpa passed away in the hospital, Dwayne wrote to Olive. "Go and hug mom"; and when Dwayne, who had always wanted to be a pilot, knew he was color-blind and refused to get in the car and go again in the wilderness, Olive just sat down next to him and talked to him.
