The first story is too good and too complete, and there are so many stretchable threads left in secret. The crew chose two: extending from time-the savior is not the only one, Neo has experienced the sixth human Complete the plan; extend from space-introduce the two big terminals of Zion and Machinery City. The former is very successful, the latter is quite a failure. Summarizing the main theme of the whole film, in fact, only three dialogues are enough: chat with the speaker late at night in Zion; chat with the prophet in the yard; and finally chat with the architect. There was a long copy of the Frenchman in the middle, hurried, kitsch, and boring. It took me more than ten years for the architect to understand: Neo’s choice was not to "save the girl," but by refusing to carry back the pot of human completion plans, he chose the "choice" itself that represents free will.

The Architect: Your life is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of the matrix. You are the eventuality of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision.
