"...(The gun) is made in China. If you want to kill people, at least use American products."
"It is impossible for the Chinese government to allow the extradition of Chinese in China."
I just saw the beginning, and I was rather angry. If you say China If the irresponsibility of the products produced by the companies in China is relatively objective, then what is wrong with the Chinese government for not allowing the extradition of Chinese citizens? Does the U.S. government allow the extradition of Americans who have committed crimes in China and escaped to the United States? The power of the United States is evident.
Because I prefer to watch American TV series, it seems to be no surprise:
"Boston legal" criticized China's family planning more than once, which is obviously a policy of using the so-called human rights of the United States to exclude other countries.
The policemen who appeared in Shanghai in "Smallville" and "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor", dressed in the clothes of the Republic of China, grabbed people with rifles.
In the rustic Chinese nanny in "desperate housewife", the heroine threatened: "I will send you back to the countryside in Shanghai", but the nanny was frightened and at a loss. If Shanghai is a rural area, I really can't imagine what the city will be like.
In "Transformers", when the Internet was invaded, I thought of Iran, North Korea, and China. "This is not like China's methods." Do you really understand Chinese technology?
Bruce Willis in "The Die Hard 4" called that very good Maggie Q an "Asian bitch", which made me very unhappy.
In "LOST", Hugo asked the South Korean MM if it was from a "good North Korea" or a "bad North Korea". It felt very shallow.
In "Friends", when everyone saw that ROSS brought a girlfriend back from China and thought it was a Chinese, they all made fun of it.
In "Forrest Gump", the hero returned from China to give a speech, and the host shouted that China has no human rights and freedom.
...
Finally, I saw the narrowness of the American nation. Everything that contradicted their values was all demonized, and the things they didn't understand were ignorant to draw conclusions. I really don’t know if this was done deliberately by American directors, or if they were really so ignorant.
It is true that there are still many backward and extremely unreasonable places in China, but the image of China in many American films is simply inaccurate and absurd.
American directors have always liked malicious ridicule. The US president, government, FBI, CIA, police, and celebrities from all walks of life are probably not spared; however, ridicule about their own country makes people feel funny, and it can only make fun of other countries and nations. It feels superficial and vulgar.
