Many people know Edgar Ritter after watching this film, and there are two protagonists. However, I first got to know the director after watching his latest work "The Hot Blood Detective". At that time, he was very impressed by his very individual shots switching quickly. The humorous style shown in the film is different from that of American films. It is refreshing for people like me who watch many American films. The few cult shots in the film are also my favorite.
And this "Zombie Sean" also has a quick switch of the camera, but it uses less than "Detective Hot". The director in "Hot Blood Detective" seems to be too addicted to the switching of the camera, so that he sees some aesthetic fatigue behind.
To be honest, the film doesn't have too many amazing places, but it is different from the average American zombie film and feels fresh, and the British mockery is also very good. The most impressive shot is probably the shot of Sean going to the supermarket twice: the course of action and the camera settings are all exactly the same, except that the original normal person has turned into a zombie, but Sean didn't notice it. There is also a section where Sean and his friends hesitate to use that CD when throwing zombies with the CD, which is very funny.
Anyway, it's a good movie to kill time when I'm bored. Don’t think that this is a horror movie. The style of the whole movie is not dark at all. The only bloody shot is that the person who quarreled with Sean was dragged out by the zombies to eat, but it did not deliberately show the bloody scene. The music can also be rendered. In the film's comedy color, even if Sean was forced to kill his mother who turned into a zombie, he did not use sensationalism.
In short, it's okay in summer and tired of Hollywood blockbusters. This film is a good choice.
