It’s a masterpiece, it’s worth just watching Mr. Kevin’s performance

The whole story is edited upside down, memories and reality are intertwined, making people confused from beginning to end. Although the ending may be guessed by many people, it should be because Kevin Spacey’s performance was so vivid, almost to the bones, but when I saw the ending, I still had a feeling of being fooled—from the beginning. At the end, the audience, like the police officer in the movie, was completely fooled by Kevin Spacey. As the saying goes: If you tell a lie, you must cover it up with another lie. Through this movie, we know that as long as that person is good enough, he can use a steady stream of lies to justify himself. On the way to the film, I felt that if this Oscar didn't give Kevin Spacey a performance award, it would be unreasonable. It turns out that Oscar is not blind.

The Usual Suspects quotes

  • Kobayashi: Before you... do me in, Mr. McManus, you will let me finish my business with Ms. Finneran first, won't you?

    Keaton: What did you say?

Kobayashi: Edie Finneran. She's upstairs in my office for an extradition deposition. I requested that she be put on the case personally. She flew in yesterday. No matter. Kill away, Mr. McManus.

  • Verbal: He lets the last Hungarian go. He waits until his wife and kids are in the ground and then he goes after the rest of the mob. He kills their kids, he kills their wives, he kills their parents and their parents' friends. He burns down the houses they live in and the stores they work in, he kills people that owe them money. And like that he was gone. Underground. Nobody has ever seen him since. He becomes a myth, a spook story that criminals tell their kids at night. "Rat on your pop, and Keyser Soze will get you." And no-one ever really believes.
