Black and white films can not only express memories

As a film describing racism, it has done its due diligence. The end of the story arranges Danny's death instead of his brother, which is a bit unexpected to me, but it seems to move me more than the ending I imagined. The biggest problem with the story is that Nick's transformation process in prison is too thin. It is selfish rather than human soul that dominates him. In addition, black and white films can not only express memories, but also have a natural advantage in telling the conflict between blacks and whites.
