Here, the director's brushwork also pointed to the meaninglessness of violence. Officer Emil was fascinated by the power given to Hulk by gamma rays, but after he got his wish, he could only wreak havoc in the city. In Ang Lee's version, Bruce wanted to live a normal life on the one hand, and on the other hand, he once said that he liked the feeling of being out of control. The new version separates the two sides of Hulk, one surrenders to violence, and the other strives to get rid of the control of force.
Of course, the story still has to show the scene of the two giants fighting, otherwise how to reflect the dazzling CG and special effects?
