When Robert De Niro met Al Pacino

A game of cat and mouse, because of the appearance of these two big-name old men so attracted me.

As I watched it, I wondered whether Al Pacino met Robert De Niro or Robert De Niro met Al Pacino.
When I saw Robert De Niro say at the end, "I said I won't go back to prison." Then when the two hands were held tightly together, I chose the latter.

The last ten minutes of the chase was very thrilling. Before that shot, I was worried that Al Pacino would fall last.
Lao Pa is really suitable for playing this kind of fierce old man. He has sharp eyes and a bad temper and a loud voice. He will be inexplicably nervous when he yells.

I had imagined that they would find out that they were brothers in the end, or that the living and the deceased would find a photo of them as a child in their pockets and tears.
Of course, this kind of sensation did not happen after all, this is a Hollywood movie after all, not a Korean drama.
But the final handshake was still very moving. From the moment they drank coffee together, they felt that although the two people were both righteous and evil, they cherished each other.

This can also be regarded as heroes and cherish heroes, at least in their respective fields, they are all regarded as heroes.
It's just that the ending of the hero movie must be evil, so De Niro must have sacrificed.

Since "The Godfather" I have liked Al Pacino very much. For a time, my friends and I thought his face was almost the old Raul Gonzalez.
As for Robert De Niro, since he rescued Judie Foster in "Taxi Driver", I have a lot of affection for him.

Although the two have co-starred in the first and second episodes of "The Godfather", this is the first time such a rivalry has been played.
The sparks of such two old men coming together are absolutely no less than any popular idol. Besides, he is such a handsome old man^_^

Replay. I added it up to four and a half stars. I thought that three hours was a long time before, but this time I didn’t have enough to watch it. It’s still quite exciting to watch it many times in the middle of a rage! Although the settings of the black and white duo are inevitably a bit too "romantic" and "heroic", and the two protagonists are obviously too paired (on the one hand, with the awareness of chasing to the end of the world, they would rather seize the thieves if you give up true love. Even if I missed the prime time to escape, I would rather kill the last rebel regardless of the safety of his girlfriend), but then again, with Michael Mann’s wonderful scheduling scenes as the base, I won’t get tired of watching it again, and It’s very “nostalgic” that the two powerful factions ushered in the “second spring” in the 1990s (although as far as this one is concerned, De Niro’s performance is slightly better than that of Lao Pa. Let me shake). Finally, this revisit can basically be regarded as a warm-up before "The Irishman", and immediately I can see the two old people in the same frame, rubbing their palms in excitement!

The gangsters are also righteous, and the plot of the street shootout attracted many imitators in the future. The black president Dennis Haysbert was shot to death in just a few shots.

Heat quotes

  • Vincent Hanna: [while in an elevator with Casals on their way to question Hugh Benny, estimating the amount of time Neal has left to escape] Eight to ten hours is enough time to set up a new "out". After that he's gone. Bye, bye, bang!

  • Sgt. Drucker: [while in a safe house referring to Charlene] fix her a drink or something, look in the cabinets above the sink

Alan Marciano: [feeling belittled after being criticized by Charlene for giving her up in exchange for his own immunity] fuck her

Sgt. Drucker: you better get in there and stay in here
