Story: 9/10
Action: 9/10
Overall evaluation: A.
Heath Ledger, the most well-known character in "Brokeback Mountain", unfortunately passed away at the beginning of the year. It is rumored that he played Joker too much. Deep and overdose, used his own life to give "The Dark Knight" (referred to as "TDK") the most powerful propaganda. According to past experience, a movie that has been ignited with such a large bubble usually cannot hold much hope. However, it turns out that all worries are redundant. This is by no means an ordinary manga adaptation or superhero movie. It is an evil and majestic poem (barely surpassed by justice).
The Joker portrayed by Heath Ledger is undoubtedly one of the most classic villains ever. The expression hidden behind the thick white powder, the yellow eyes hidden behind the black eye circles, messy hair, blood-red lips and tongue, every tiny physical movement, are all "the total exuding from every pore" "Evil" brings a perfect footnote. Heath's performance made me almost forget the existence of Batman; I enjoyed every moment of chilling and wonderful humor brought by Heath "The Joker" Ledger, and sinfully hoped that this evil god could fill every second of the screen. Anton Chigurh, played by Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men last year, is the ultimate in silence and tolerance, and Heath Ledger's Joker is the ultimate in publicity. Therefore, students who want to take children to see superheroes should be cautious.
The script written by director Christopher Nolan and his brother Jonathan established the role of Joker from the very first scene. The film seems to revolve entirely around Joker, not just Batman. If the first four "Batman" are not counted, and the last "Batman Begins" is the first episode, it should be renamed "The Joker Begins" instead of "Batman Begins 2." Hidden behind the mask of justice, Christian Bale, the "supporting role", can only act with few barely able-to-talk eyes, exaggerated mouth shapes, and a hoarse "hero" voice. It is really hard for this genius.
Compared with the profound meaning of "The Dark Knight" and the rich plot from beginning to end, the star-studded last episode of "Batman Begins" (just reviewed this week) has become a foil that was once overrated. The relatively simple and messy plot of "BB" is far less than the strictly enforced and complicated "TDK". Probably because of the length of the movie (2 and a half hours), there are quite a lot of details in the cinema version that have not been explained. I think that the longer version of the re-cut will make the plot line more clear, and will not be caused by some blunt transfers. On the contrary, it looks slightly verbose. However, this set of Batman "innuends" China again after the previous episode. Although it is for entertainment reasons, it does not need to be taken seriously, but it is still a bit uncomfortable.
Although the trailer was well-known, the exciting action scenes of "TDK" were much more exciting than expected; and the bat brand motorcycle chariot with extremely bull X and extremely cool in the poster shocked the audience as soon as it drove out. Action movie fans will never be disappointed by the heavy Drama component of this movie. Director Nolan once mentioned that this film was influenced by "Heat": "Heat" led by Pacino/DeNiro is a movie with heavy drama ingredients and one of the most classic gunfight scenes.
In the supporting cast, Caine/Oldman/Freeman, I have no problem at all. The character change of the new double-faced man (Aaron Eckhart) took a considerable amount of pen and ink, but the result of the change failed to convince me. The reason is probably because the heroine Maggie Gyllenhaal (the sister of Heath’s "broken back friend" Jake Gyllenhaal) really does not fit my aesthetics. I always feel that the much more beautiful version of her and Katie Holmes is too far apart, which makes people It will be unacceptable for a while. Maggie's drooping corners of her eyes and old bags under her eyes make it hard to believe that The Joker's "Hello, Beautiful" is for her. Purely personal preference, no wonder.
Fans of "Lost" and "Prison Break" can see the familiar Richard and Mahone respectively in the movie; while Edison Chen's appearance in less than 2 seconds is not focused, but it is enough to be clearly recognized by everyone. It can be considered as some flavoring agent for everyone.
I have known Heath since Mel Gibson's "The Patriot", and I remember only watching the "Monster's Ball" and the brainless ghost film "The Brothers Grimm" in which Halle Barry took the shadow. I skipped "A Knight's Tale" and "The Four Feathers", which he singled out, because I thought he was just a niche who feeds on his face. And Heath, who rarely plays the villain,’s new interpretation of Joker this time makes people completely immersed in his "guilt".
It's a pity that the Sri Lankan is gone, Joker's evil publicity has become a swan song, and Heath Ledger, whose life is fixed at 29 years old, is also destined to become an eternal legend.
