Before the screening, it was a Pixar short film. The one between the magician and the rabbit, called Presto, remembered it. No dialogue, single scene, but hugely funny. I think, how does that magician look so much like Walt Disney? Then Bunny, it's a relative of Bugs Bunny (bug's bunny belongs to Warner...). In short, the atmosphere of the audience has become alive before the film has officially started. This weekend, parents brought their children to see. Children especially like this kind of short film that has no dialogue and is simple and easy to understand.
The Wall E movie itself, I think it should be called "the modern love story of Thunderbolt V on Noah's Ark". Because Wall E is completely a replica of Thunderbolt 5. And that Axiom spacecraft is also like a "dystopian" version of Noah's Ark. Oh... a whole ship of fat humans. Although a hidden main axis of the story is satirizing the deterioration of the environment and the alienation of people in the highly consuming American society. But this story is packed into a very delicate "robot love" script. Pixar didn't even worry about criticizing the Americans who lie down and drink Coke and watch shopping channels 24 hours a day (to be honest, isn't that enough?), and put the focus of comparison on the two robots Wall E and Eva. This is a very clever technique, because most cartoon viewers are not keen on discussing the future of mankind. And now, in addition to being able to win people’s laughter (almost the whole audience burst into laughter during the screening, which is more joyful than any Judd Apatow film), parents who go home can also say a few words "In fact, you have to know, you Can’t eat so much pizza and don’t exercise.” This not only shows Pixar's sense of humor and responsibility, but also does not give people the suspicion of preaching.
Humans are in a position to be ridiculed completely in this film. (Actually, it should be the Americans?) The super large chain company BNL in the film has unified all business fields in the future. And human beings have fallen into fat people who can only eat and drink with the help of computers. And to receive computer education from a young age, you must consume and consume faster. Although this world doesn't have the grayness of Matrix, it's actually not far off. Fortunately, human beings have not lost their nature, they have just "forgotten". The appearance of Wall E and Eva reminded them that there is still a "home", although it is devastated, waiting for their return.
I won't talk about spoilers. A must-see production for this summer vacation...Disney is estimated to be able to make a lot of money again.
