Rhythm control

More realistic, entertaining, artistic and social reflection are taken care of. God-level rhythm control, fierce and vicious editing and delicate and soft mirroring, coupled with endless husband and wife voiceovers and momentary freeze-frame shots, together form this unique gangster biopic. The performance is full and in place, the plot is restrained and tense, it is really enjoyable to watch these "good guys" admire each other. In the Lufthansa robbery, did Jimmy kill his mouth because he missed his feet? I wanted to kill everything, wouldn't the road get narrower and narrower? Who else would dare to cooperate with him? Although the underworld calls brothers and sisters all day long, they always believe in interests rather than friendship. They cannot truly achieve unity, so they betray each other. The Witness Protection Program has indeed destroyed many criminal gangs, but it also protects the bad guys who used to do all the evil. I didn't expect good fellas to turn into good guys. Although I was bombarded by bad stalks, I have to say that they are really trustworthy. The ethics in this are really good guys. Hollywood can no longer produce such a steady movie.

One of the most exciting gangster movies in film history, based on real stories and characters, Martin Scorsese almost uses documentary methods to tell the almost ordinary life, and the line drawing shows his personality, and when it is soothing, the wind is surging and the calm down. The ups and downs, the god-level performances of directors and actors, portray the violent, greedy, savage, treacherous, and sleek human nature of the gangster Ukiyo-e in New York in the 1970s.

Beautiful moving long mirror, gangster everyday. In contrast, scenes of violence are all in pediatrics. Joe Paixi played really well, and even De Niro overshadows it. It feels like the new Irishman is a kind of continuation.

Goodfellas quotes

  • Henry Hill: [Narrating] These are the guys Jimmy put together for what turned out to be the biggest heist in American history: the Lufthansa heist. Tommy and Carbone were going to grab the outside guard and make him get us in the front door, Frenchy and Joe Buddha had to round up the workers, Johnny Roastbeef had to keep them all tied up and away from the alarm, even Stacks Edwards got in on it, all he was supposed to do was steal the panel truck and afterwards compact it with a friend of ours in New Jersey. Only Morrie was driving us nuts - just because he set this up, he felt he could bust Jimmy's balls for an advance on the money we were going to steal. He didn't mean anything by it; it was just the way he was.

  • Jimmy Conway: [referring to Henry and Karen] She'll never divorce him. She'll kill him but she won't divorce him.
