Home Alone focuses on the adventures of a young boy named Kevin.When his family leaves him home by himself for the holidays,Kevin is naughty at first, but by the end of the movie he changes a lot.Not only can he live independently, but he also has learned how to protect himself.Moreover, he really realizes how much he loves his families and battles against two thieves to protect their common home. His vigilance and self-preservation begins to improve after meeting the two thieves.When he first sees the two thieves preparing to steal, he is so frightened that he hides under the bed.Nevertheless,he tells himself to be brave because he is the head of the family now.Therefore, he starts to take a few measures to protect himself.In the night,He manipulates the puppets to make the thieves think his family is at home.Ashe goes to the supermarket to buy something,he says to the salesgirl his mother is waiting for him in the car. In addition, when the delivery arrives, he turns on the TV and emits loud sound,making the delivery boy think there areadultsat home.At this point ,Kevin is still in the joy of the disappearance of his family.But gradually, he begins to miss his family,and begs Santa Claus to bring his family back.
